In this case the visit was for a photographic tour.
In this case the visit was for a photographic tour. Nowra is the perfect base for playing tourist as most attractions are an easy drive away (half to an hour away). Accommodation is hugely expensive (hundreds or thousands $$$) in the tourist Meccas and mostly unavailable anyway. I recommend Nowra for an economic and hassle free stay. The location and proximity is great.Guest review byJoeAustralia - 10.0

Huskisson has changed into one of those yuppie little seaside town.It has changed in a good way, the main footpaths allow for stores and pedestrians to interact, at night the tree lights look pretty and there is plenty of stores open with a range of options. We went to the RSL and the husky pub for meals and was not disappointed, the views, the atmosphere and the food were good. We even went to the cinema which was a treat. It was well worth the visit.Guest review bydavidAustralia - 10.0

Ulladulla is a favourite location, It has a range of cafes, from the trendy in the open carpark across the road from Coles, to the plainer food I like, next to Coles, to everything in between. Another favourite is Harris Scarfe, their Govani, cut price, large size, night dresses and tops. The presence of Aldi, Coles and Woolworths and Reject shop. There is Silly Sollys too ,a big store, nothing over $5, go behind the shops on the right as you travel from Sydney, to find it and huge parking. The other stores and second hand books are all across the main road. Ulladulla is next to Mollymook, fabulous beach, nice cafe up past where you can buy the news paper !Guest review byPamelaAustralia - 10.0

Absolutely loved this place, it has the best location and the best vibes! The host was ever so helpful and friendly, I felt so welcomed. There is so much to do in the area and so much wildlife to see, especially if you are into bird watching like me. There are also surf boards, a kayak and paddle boards at the holiday park which you can use. Paddling in the morning around the mangroves is so refreshing and once done you can have well-deserved and super tasty breakfast and a coffee at the Pelican Shores Cafe and you will be spoiled for options with the extensive menu. If I knew how good this place is I would have booked much longer stay, I truly hope I get to go back there some day. One thing to note however is that all eh shops in town close fairly early and so you may want to plane better for your first evening if you are arriving after 7pm. There are two restaurants and one take away that stay open until later but do check out their menus in case it doesn't appeal.Guest review byIvaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Burrill Lake is close to Ulladulla which has excellent restaurants and clubs and good shopping. We ate several times at an Italian restaurant and at the bowling club and ex-services and at local cafes, all very good. The lake area also has great cafes and some shopping with excellent swimming and boating facilities and fishing is very popular.Guest review byTonyAustralia - 10.0

The beautiful beaches, with lots of dog-friendly spaces, friendly people, rolling countryside, great local shops (the pub/IGA/bottle shop/butcher and baker are all excellent). The Bowling Club looked great too, but we didn't go inside as it wasn't dog-friendly. We love the proximity to Berry, which has so much character and great places to eat. Had a fabulous lunch at the Husky Pub (dog friendly) in Huskisson, got soaked by the Blowhole in Kiama, saw dolphins swimming in Jervis Bay - magic!Guest review bycerisesontourAustralia - 10.0

I adored visiting Lake Conjola with my boyfriend—he grew up spending summers there, so it felt nostalgic and meaningful. Every local we met was genuinely warm and welcoming. We spent a delightful evening at the local Bowling Club during their meat raffle and live music night—the food was delicious, and the bar offered an impressive selection of drinks. The beach was absolutely stunning, I also tried fishing for the first time and was thrilled to catch a blackfish! I’ll definitely be returning soon.Guest review byKatieAustralia
