Loved the location - just a few blocks away from the beach and also pretty close to the historic downtown area. Even though the street out front was pretty busy, we didn't hear so much traffic from the family room. The bedroom area was recently renovated. Good value for money. The staff was friendly and spoke English. It was nice that there was coffee and tea available in the lounge area all day.

The staff is welcoming and available for inquiries. The hotel looks new and modern design. The room was comfortable, new linens and towels! There is a lovely paved courtyard with outdoor furniture. Very convenient location in a central area, yet in the hotel itself you don't feel the effect of the busy street. Nice breakfast.

Hotel was really clean and staff really nice! Amazing room view! The breakfast was very delicious and varied. I loved it very much. Everything was great from cleanliness, comfort, delicious breakfast, and great service! Location was great too. I would recommend this hotel very highly.

    Being very close to the border with Turkey, there is, unfortunately, TOO MUCH heavy truck traffic on the only highway along the beach. Be CAREFUL (walking) crossing the road to the beach! There are PLENTY of authentic Georgian restaurants serving great salads and cold beer!)))

    Kvariati is a small, peaceful town (but still developing), with a small number of small shops and restaurants, where prices cannot be called low. The beach is with small pebbles, it would be good to have special beach shoes. The sea was not very calm and transparent when we were there.

    The country of Georgia is now under development.

    The country of Georgia is now under development. However the big building is not yet completed, but hosting guests. There is no parking space around the building, the narrow road in front pains always traffic jam with double parking each road sides. Walking pedestrian way is stucked on carpark. Amazing city..

    Kvariati is a 15km area from Batumi.

    Kvariati is a 15km area from Batumi. It is small, but has everything for a beach vacation. The apartments are clean and with amazing views (mostly uphill). In contrast with Batumi, Kvariati is way more calm and peaceful, it’s a place where you go to relax, it is in 30 min ride from Batumi, so if you do want more of the touristy places and nightlife, you still can go there by taxi (they are quite affordable, 5-6$ for a ride). It is an uphill location, so lots of walking could be hard, but taxis are affordable. Kvariati is peaceful, relaxing and the beaches are way more cleaner than in any other place and there is “Sazandari” restaurant in the beach area with amazing food, helpful staff and quick and good service, the food is 27-28$ for 2 people, quite affordable too! The people are kind and friendly. Definitely recommend!

    We really enjoyed staying in this quiet town that is about 10 minutes fromm the port of Batumi. Makhinjauri has a beautiful coast line and botanical garden. I would highly recommend visiting this huge botanical garden with a big variety of different plants and trees. You could spend all day there because of its size and variety of different plants, flowers, and trees. There is a market place with very tasty organic food and drink at low prices

    One of the worst experience, the place is extremely bad and absolutely not family friendly First you need to go to one block on 15th floor for check in, lifts are so crowded and many of them not working and you need to wait for 1 hr to get in the lift Then you reach 15th floor where a rude lady will do your check in and just handover a card and ask you to go to another tower means you have to wait for another 1 hr for lifts , imagine doing this with kids and luggage. They promised to provide cribs and when you ask lady she rudely refused that we don’t have The apartment was in very dirty situation and not even blankets available ,washrooms are dirty and they don’t offer house keeping unless you pay them heavy fee for each day which was so unacceptable They provide you a what’s app number to contact as no reception and you can message endless on those number and they will never reply The only time they sent you message is on check out date We decided to leave the place after 2 hrs but we lost out money as it was non refundable In summary any family should never think about this place as this is true warning Also they added my review as exceptional without even me writing any review so I would say their reviews are all fake and likely scam

    We had a wonderful stay in Kvariati.

    We had a wonderful stay in Kvariati. The villa was cozy, spacious, and surrounded by nature — perfect for families or groups. The sound of the nearby stream and the beautiful mountain-sea view made it a peaceful retreat. The villa owner was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and generous — he truly went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind: the road up to the villa is a bit steep, so having a car is strongly recommended. That said, the host was always ready to help if anything was needed. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, privacy, and warm hospitality.
