The property was a beautiful, incredible place with views of the Mediterraneo and mar menor. The description and pictures don't make justice. It is luxurious but comfortable and the most important thing is the way we were received: Theresa and her husband Gizle went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The place is beautiful. The breakfast delicious, the hosts wonderful, the location espectacular with sunset and sunrise views. Also they borrowed us chairs, umbrella and towels to go to the beach.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is situated at a road with a lot of traffic on workdays. Everything else is absolutely excellent : helpfull staff, cleanness, room size, beds comfortable, breakfast fresh pressed juice, bread etc. The restaurant is sought not only by hotel guests but also locals and passing drivers value the food quality here. You get a good nights sleep here. It is a good base for exploring Caravaca and as a stopover. We highly recommend this hotel. Note that the restaurant is closed at night.

    Murcia is a great city.

Murcia is a great city. Easy to get around with some lovely restaurants and bars to eat and drink. It is much less "touristy" than other cities in the region which adds to its charm. You will eat and drink mainly with locals in the bars and restaurants that are away from the tourist areas. The cathedral and area around it is great for an evening walk and drink in one of the many bars, and the mercado de correos is worth a visit for an evening meal.

The apartment was clean and spacious in a quiet area with a lovely open view of the valley below from the balcony. The pool was only a 2 minute walk away, perfect for our needs as a family with an 8 year old and beds in the shade were always available. You definitely need a car. Beaches are only a short 10 to 15 minutes drive away. Our favourite restaurant was La Barra Tapas Bar in nearby Atamaria, high quality and very reasonable.

It's a really nice city, easy to walk around, plenty to see and I'm surprised it's not more popular. The port is nice to watch the cruise ships and all the boats. Go up to the castle in the glass elevator and enjoy the garden, sights and many peacocks up there. There are lots of museums and Roman ruins all over the city. The naval museum is also interesting. We did the city tour bus on the first day, it's not hop on hop off but you can get off at the beach if you want and catch a later bus back. It was a good way to get an idea of where things are before you start walking around. The main calle mayor is nice for shops, bars and restaurants around there but given the regular influx of cruise ship passengers I was surprised how many empty shops there were on the side streets. Definitely worth a visit for a few days.

Aguilas is a very Spanish town, catering mostly for Spanish visitors. There are virtually no "tourist"restaurants, just Spanish ones that do not do sandwiches etc. Some of the cafes near the centre do such food, but they were a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Don't get me wrong, we ate very well at night, with a few "is this really what I ordered" moments related to our inability to read Spanish menus. Some great bars and heladerías in the main part of town. Bar La Mina has a great selection of beers. Missing my daily cortado already.

San Pedro del Pinatar has lots of potential, however, it is not currently geared for tourism and it’s clear the local Spanish community are content with that. English is not widely spoken, and while new complexes are being built, the supporting infrastructure has yet to be considered or developed.

Food not good - No labels , cold and had been sitting there. The breakfast was slightly better but still cold. (HOT FOOD)! Do not know what you are eating, no labels, No Allergy WARNINGS. You might get to play golf if stopping longer, but we booked the hotel to play golf , to no avail due to the course being so dry and bad condition. I don't think the hotel meets a 4 star re the food. Its well over priced and have eaten better in a cafe. I cannot see why they cannot put a choice menu out the day before and cook fresh. They must have lots of waste.

The hotel I had booked into was closed but I wasn’t told until I got there. I had booked a room with balcony and bath. No balcony at new hotel and bath plug didn’t fit so I couldn’t have a bath. Couldn’t regulate the air conditioning so had to open window to allow cool air in. Food mediocre, eg smoked salmon covered in oil which overpowered taste. I booked two massages which were fantastic!
