Very nice hotel within walking distance to the city center. The room was spacious, very clean, the beds were comfortable and there was a minibar which was included in the price, so it was replenished every day. The breakfast was tasty and there was enough choice of everything. They had delicious homemade desserts. Nice staff everywhere. You can park in the underground garage for a fee. Charming and compact Bratislava is the world’s only capital city bordering two countries, Austria and Hungary, and centers around the beautiful Danube River. South is the modern city and a peaceful forest, but the real Bratislava attractions are over Novy Most (New Bridge), an impressive structure with a UFO-like pylon. The castle on a rock overlooking the Old Town offers the best views of it. The rock itself has a Jewish cemetery and a literally underground club.
Across the street, St. Martin’s Cathedral was the coronation site of past Hungarian kings. The cobbled streets behind are lined with outdoor restaurants and bars. The city’s specialty is treska, a cold cod salad, washed down with white wine from the nearby Small Carpathian mountains.
The main square is Hlavne namestie, home to pastel-colored buildings, a 14th-century town hall housing the city museum, and the Bratislava Christmas markets. Hodzovo namestie square features the Peace Earth sculpture and Baroque Grassalkovich Palace, the presidential residence guarded by the Slovak National Guard. Across the park is the Archiepiscopal Palace, seat of the government. All around are many Bratislava hotels, B&Bs and apartments available on Booking.com.
Before heading to Bratislava Airport, visit Kamzìk TV tower, whose revolving restaurant and observation deck offer magnificent city views.

Friendliest, most heplful city I've ever been to - but this may (or may not) be due to it being early in the season.
We arrived Saturday night and left Tuesday morning. Many things are closed on Monday which meant we missed out on the Danube boat trip we had been hoping to take.

The hill top and views of the Danube river ware amazing.
The hill top and views of the Danube river ware amazing. The down is small and perfect for people who enjoy walkable destinations. I definitely didn't like the food. We visited two restaurants but at both places it just wasn't cooked properly. That is not my experience in the neighboring Vienna.

Just spent a few days in Bratislava with some friends.
Just spent a few days in Bratislava with some friends. The old town and Castle are easy to get around. We hired a bike and went across the river where you can cycle the Danube all the way to Germany if you choose. Food was lovely and all delicacies were covered. There are some fantastic shopping centers just off old town with all the brands you'd expect plus some Slovakian ones. Bratislava is definitely a must see.
We loved the free parking and the location of the apartment. The apartment is very modern, tech-savvy, and clean. We only stayed one night, but the staff was great at checking us in/out. Instructions are clear on how to get the apartment keys, park in the garage, and self-checkout. It has a good Wi-Fi signal, which we always appreciate.
It's right in the old town - a 5-minute walk to the castle and the old town historie center. So, if you need a place to stay to visit Bratislava, I highly recommend City Castle Apartments.
Although located in the center of the old town, the hotel is situated on an exceptionally quiet street. The room was spacious and super clean, and the bed was very comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep. The free WiFi was fast and reliable. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, making it a superb way to start the day. The receptionist was very helpful, always eager to provide advice on places to visit and good restaurants to eat. If I return to Bratislava, I will definitely stay there again.
Really nice and comfortable doubleroom flat is opposite to Bratislava Bus station and we use it for short night because we need catch the soon morning bus to Vienna airport. It is in the city centre, Nivy bus station and big shopping mall Nivy is just across the street. Just 10-15 min walk to old town. In front of the main entrance there is a Street food open till late night. Really good and flexible communication with landlord. Some sweets and snifters were waiting for us on the table :)
The location was convenient despite not being in the old town of Bratislava, having bus stops opposite the hotel which we made use of. Overall, the hotel had an antique/vintage vibe and decor which added to our experience, yet the rooms were modern and comfortable. The breakfast was good as well, though I would have preferred other more well-known products to be available for selection (such as nutella over the unpleasant chocolate sauce).
The location was at the heart of Old Town. It is next to the Most SNP which is a bus stop for Vienna Airport and Vienna City Centre. You just walk two minutes to reach the hotel. The personel both on reception, cleaning and breakfast services had smiles on their faces. The breakfast has exceeded my expectation. I accommodate in the deluxe room which is perfect regarding the size and comfort.
I loved the bar, the hotel. I was planning to book it again.
Nearby the train station, very handy. Just 10 min walk to the old town and very nice people.
If I look for a hostel I highly recommend this place. It is amazing.
But than we had problems. As we never booked a hostel. We booked a private 4 star room
This is a lovely family owned hotel in the Old Town in Bratislava. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, excellent buffet breakfast available from 7.30am - 10am and a very good restaurant attached to the hotel. For a convenient and comfortable base for exploring the city, I could not have asked for anything better.
One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Location was absolutely perfect between the train station and the old town. Decor was of the highest standard, same with the food and drink in the hotel. If I am ever in Bratislava again, I will not be looking at any other hotel and would love to return.
The hotel was great and meet your expectations. It's inside the old town so is very easy to walk around. The hots were super friendly and gave a lot of good suggestions. Definitely the best place to stay in Bratislava. Room was big, excellent shower and bed.
Close to Bratislava Old town and the bus station Nivy this boutique hotel provide you with all the accommodations you could wish for. Spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, spa and fitness room. The staff is professional and always ready to meet your needs.
Perfect location for exploring Bratislava! The hotel is located directly at the edge of Bratislava old town.
The rooms are really big and well equipped. It was possible to cook and to store food in a fridge and freezer. There are also cute common areas.
I would give it 5 stars. Of the 7 or 8 hotels we stayed at in Europe, Devin was the best. The breakfast was exceptional as was the staff. It is located right on the Danube a short walk to the old town. Bratislava is a hidden gem, clean and vibrant.
5 star, absolute gem in Bratislava. Nicely furnished room, cleaned daily, safe and secure, 15 minutes walk into old town, buses near by, good quality restaurant/brewhouse downstairs. Free minibar topped up daily. Friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is located in the center of the Old Town, home to most of the tourist attractions in Bratislava, all within a walking distance. The stuff was vey nice and the room was clean and comfortable - lots of breakfast options too
Very good budget hotel and excellent location, very near the old town and on a tram line direct with the railway station. The owner was very friendly and helpful and for me it was exactly what I needed and was perfect.
AC Hotel is in a very convenient location to old town, shopping, Main train station, buses and trams. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with options for any dietary needs. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
The great advantage of Crowne Plaza Bratislava is its location - across the street from the President's Palace on the edge of the Old Town.
The hotel has its own underground parking albeit charging steep rates.
