Staff was super friendly and accommodating! We had a little trouble with the a/c leaking in our room and they upgraded us to a nicer room without us even asking. The food was very good. The man-made sandy beach was nice.

This trip was primarily to test new gear. It exceeded our expectations because instead of our expected house reef dive, we were brought to a new site where a massive school of jacks have been monitored. Before that was a dive for small critters, the personal highlight of which was enjoying the sight of a seahorse. All good experiences!

Mabini offers a beautiful view of the sea & it’s accessible enough from Manila.
We needed to buy some medicines, unfortunately, the drugstore the provides what we needed was 14 km away. We also had to search for a decent with reasonable rate room for our driver. Fortunately we found one. What the hotel and locals were offering were too expensive, almost the cost of one pax in Camp Netanya. I am sure a lot of visitors have drivers, hence Mabini shd provide more info on drivers’ accommodations.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, that I liked but the property lacks so many things for the comfort of their clients.
1. Safety deposit box was so light and not mounted so it is not safe to put your belongings in it since it can be easily taken anyway.
2. Doors are jammed and hard to open
3. Shower area has no soap dish or anywhere to put shampoo and other things, so you have to put them on tbe floor
4. No outlet that can reach the kettle so it had to be placed on the floor.
5. Closet is too light and small, it wasn't even deep enough for the whole hanger and they squeak.
6. I hope they will never charge additional 4% for credit card users.
7. The table tennis table has bubbles and deformed already.
8. Food was okay
9. The massage is recommended, masseuse was good, except the noise from outside is heard so you can't really relax.

Looking for a dive and snorkeling site but only a short drive from Manila? Then go to Mabini in Batangas. There's quite a number of beautiful resorts and dive centers in Mabini, and they're situated next to each other. A shore dive and/or snorkeling can give you an amazing experience of the many corrals, colorful fishes and schools of fish. If you're lucky, you can also take pic with sea turtle. Most of the resorts offer dive packages from intro diving to certification diving. We have stayed in 2 resorts in Mabini: Halo last May, and very recently, at Camp Netanya. Weather permitting, you can also watch the sunset in Mabini. Famous restaurant is OMG which serves good food. We also tried twice or thrice PrimiTeave coffee for pasta and drinks.

The fastest way in going to Mabini is to take the SLEX Ibaan...
The fastest way in going to Mabini is to take the SLEX Ibaan exit and just follow the road signs and directions along the way to get to your specific destinations. We took the Lipa exit and drove for about 1 hour and 30 minutes passing the winding mountainous roads of Cuenca to reach the resort.
Location.. it is simply beautiful with lush jungle around and amazing ocean wildlife to see. The hills and mountains in the Mabini peninsula are just amazing and it is a nice one day trip away from the beach to go see the Gulugod Baboy hiking trails for instance. The staff was extremely attentative, flexible and helpful. The food in the restaurant was also to our liking with several especially fish/shrimp meals (fish tacos, phillippines breakfast for instance) that were very tasty and good quality for the price.
I spent two days here, the food was lovely and staff were really friendly. They arranged a boat for me to snorkelling and I had a fantastic experience.
The room was comfortable with aircon, but the water in didn't make it to the shower. At best there was a trickle of cold water available after I'd mentioned it to the hotel, but sometimes even after the 'fix' there would be nothing.
1. The staff were friendly, quick to serve, and were very attentive.
2. Bedsheets and pillows were off excellent quality.
3. Beach front was accessible by stairs and the coral reef in front of the hotel is so beautiful!! (We saw 2 pawikans)
4. The food at the restaurant was superb.
5. The view from the room was spectacular!
This resort is beside the beach. The hotel accommodation comes with free snorkelling, use of their kayaks, jacuzzi, pool, gym, karaoke room and if you tell staff you want freshly caught fish for your meal, they said they can ask some local fishermen to dock by the resort and sell it to you and staff will cook it.
Staff and location accessible by car under 3h from Manila matter most. Spacious rooms. Contemporary bathroom layout and beautiful Ocean view are highlights. Found 2XL rental wetsuit and matching BCD, big boots and fins. Nice corals in front of beach.
I liked how the staff are very accomodating. Only, we have something left in the hotel( a jacket) we tried to contact them, they said they will send to us the item but they never get back to us. So frustrating
The people were great, and the food was exceptional.
I made a couple of dives that were also great, with a great dive master and the owner of the hotel.
The wifi was very good.
Location - good view
Restaurant - pricey but serves good food
Hotel - so, so. Need repainting, renovation... aircon not functional, bed squeaky, tv remote no battery.
- Scuba Diving available in the Hotel
- Various fun things to do on the premise like billiard, table tennis and a Pool
- a lot of personnel and very accommodating
Free amenities. Accommodating staff. We enjoyed the karaoke, billiards and my husband enjoyed the kayak. The hotel manager is very accommodating. Thank you
