The cabin we stayed in at Hoya Azul is BEAUTIFUL! If you appreciate the beauty of natural wood, combined with great tile work, you should visit this place! The construction work is really interesting, real craftsmanship. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom made sleeping very comfortable, and kept the whole place cool. Good kitchen facilities. A washing machine, so we were able to clean our clothes, always a necessity in Costa Rica’s heat. Just down the road is the Diria Coffee Tour, which was really interesting. Great location for visiting nearby national parks. Great communication with hosts. Super secure, as the property is gated. Highly recommended

The host was kind and helpful. We were welcomed with sweet snacks. The house was comfortable, quiet and safe. There was a swimming pool in operation.

The location was a short drive but I would not recommend it at all if you have to walk. It was super clean and 2/3 rooms had AC. Good wifi and great size kitchen. The host was friendly, very responsive and she went above and beyond for my comfort

Such a beautiful property, comfortable, quiet, private. Super close to the beach and the best hosts. The pool has great shade, it's spacious and has everything you may need. Do yourself a favor and book some time there.

This stay is a beautiful location with beautiful caretakers. The breakfast was so nicely prepared and fresh and eating overlooking the vista of the ocean was a real treat. They made sure to go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our time there.

Great place to get away for a few days. Located in a tiny village with no real stores or restaurants so bring some food to fix. About 20 min drive to nearest stores or restaurants. I would like to stay longer some day to meet more people in the village and practice my Spanish.
