Self-Catering Accommodations in Castrelo

Very pleasant, cosy, clean accommodation. A renovated rural house, very tastefully decorated. Very nice owners. Very quiet area, in a small charming village.

The host was very communicative in order to meet us to hand over the keys, and he was very accommodating to our changing arrival time. The accommodation and property were much nicer than we were expecting, and the home was very homey and comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it seemed very well stocked for someone who would want to cook.

This small apartment was a great base for exploring the Ribeira Sacra. It is newly remodeled with high quality features throughout. It could not be more centrally located in the town (a few steps from the central square and castle), yet the apartment is quiet. The friendly host operates the grocery store about 50 meters from the door. The kitchen had almost all the essentials for a short stay, the windows were soundproof, the bathroom had great towels and a shower with amazing water pressure, and it had a nice patio for sitting outside when the weather cooperates. First rate! Highly recommend.

We loved the location. A short 8-10 minute walk to the Ponte da Boga vineyard for wine and 10 minute drive to Castro Caldelas for bica, groceries, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to prepare our dinners. The host was kind, accommodating, and very responsive and attentive. Appreciated the dog-friendly accommodation at no extra charge.

The property was very spacious and comfortable
