First of all the host. A very nice man who greeted us and made us feel welcome. He even drove us to a restaurant that was closing soon as we had no car. The room decorations were all Camino themed, which we appreciated as Pilgrims. The apartment itself was clean, warm and nicely appointed.

Staying at Rivera de Poulo is like staying with your best friend. The facilities are spotless and the bedrooms are very modern. Xose, the host, is extremely warm and welcoming. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and is on the honor system. And just when you can’t imagine it could be any better, the neighbor’s cat comes over to say “hello”!

Wonderful apartment in a great location right off the Camino Inglés. We were 3 and each had our own bedroom. The kitchen had coffee and our host left us water bottles and lemonade. The washing machine was a bonus, wish we could have stayed longer!

This place has everything you need to rest comfortably (and clean up) after a day of hiking. The host was so kind. She permitted us to check-in early and provided excellent recommendations on places to eat.
