We LOVED this place! Owners Inga and Louie bought a 20-year neglected building and did a prodigious amount of work turning it into a stunning, rustic, rural lodge. Every room has a different character and layout. The walls, indoors and out, are beautifully decorated with art and craft. Two covered terraces and a large outdoor area are very inviting and take in an expansive view of nearby mountains. Two (!) well-equipped kitchens mean you can cook away to your heart's content. Parking is ample. There are a couple of dogs you can interact with if you wish, as well as a horse and donkey. You can hide away in a corner or interact with other guests. English is spoken. And last but certainly not least, there's a plentiful supply of complimentary oranges from a tree in the yard AND an electric juicer. Terrestrial internet can be spotty in this rural town, but cell service is good. We didn't want to leave, and at only 49€/night for two (Sat/Sun/Mon, early March), we didn't need to. Ugíjar (roughly pronounced oo-HEE-har) is a remote, rural town that has made itself quite interesting to tourists, Dona Concha is certainly off the typical tourist track, but destined for greatness. Get there now while it's still humble.

Casa Buena Vista offers air-conditioned rooms in Ugíjar. The property provides free private parking. When staying at the vacation home, guests can use private entrance.

The house is very charming and easy to find in a good location in barrio alto. The hot water and shower were great. The host was very accommodating. It was exactly what I was looking for.

An absolutely incredible stay - couldn't have asked for more in this picture-perfect little village in the mountains. The apartment is so well decorated and thought out, we were so happy there and wished we could have stayed longer. Jaime and Manolo were so welcoming. We cooked dinner in our apartment, went for a sunset walk around the village and to take in the mountain views and had a very comfortable sleep. Would HIGHLY recommend!

The owners Ian & Bev are such wonderful people and hosts !! :-) They really created a lovely little place in Torvizcón where you can feel that they put a lot of effort and love into it so you can feel at home from the first moment you arrive :-))

Free Wifi is available throughout the property and Golf Almerimar is 28 miles away. Leading onto a balcony, the air-conditioned vacation home consists of 2 bedrooms.
