Self-Catering Accommodations in Dowlais

Super clean and comfortable stay, we took our one year old and there were toys and puzzles, a high chair in the well equipped kitchen, off road parking, lovely clean rooms. We really enjoyed it here.

Location was excellent, owner was really friendly and helpful. There was plenty of space and it felt like a home from home. Superb accommodation and very comfortable. Would highly recommend this property.

The house is sooo beautiful ❤️ something to look at and admire in every corner ! The house was spotless ! And it was well equipped.. had everything we needed ! Very very pleased

Cleanliness of the room ( very specious ). Comfortable beds. Kitchenette. Location, very close to the bus and train station ( don't have a car). Mountain range 20 min by the bus ( T4 motorway side or 25 to Pontsticil on the other side ). Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, condiments available plus Welsh cakes and fresh eggs from the owner's farm ( yum yum ). Kettle, toaster, coffee maker and induction Hob, fridge, freezer, hair dryer and steamer. Loved the rustic decor. Without a car 4 to max 5 nights is enough ( we love mountain walks ). With a car you can do much more. Didn't manage to do the brecon railway trail which we regret. Maybe another time:)

The location is amazing with a gorgeous view. The facilities are perfect for a couple. We had a long day and were very tired and when we arrived it felt like a home away from home, loved it.

The hosts were incredible, friendly, accommodating and left some nice touches for our arrival. The property was decorated festive for Christmas, warm cosy and clean. They were great at providing local food recommendations, activities and walks. Couldn't have asked for more.

Amazing place to stay lots of things to do within a short distance by car, bike or walk. Amazing hosts Would definitely stay again.

My son and I stayed for one night, primarily because of the close proximity (c.10 mins drive), to Bike Park Wales. It was a fantastic place to stay, clean, warm, and with all the facilities we needed. The hot tub was a very welcome bonus after a day riding in the valleys! The views were great too, and we would certainly visit again. Highly recommended. Thank you Esther for making our stay special.

The host was fantastic, we had a query during the stay and within the hour the host came out and it was sorted. The whole thing was perfect.

The studios are beautiful. Close to Merthyr Tydfil and the surrounding area.

They prepared everything you can imagine, snacks, breakfast, toothbrush, bathroom needs. It’s in the heart of the town, extra hygienic, also hospital team, with a warm welcome. Kind of an experience that makes the holiday way better.

Good location for our trip. Comfortable beds and kitchen had all we needed. Good to be able to park. Close to supermarket too
