Self-Catering Accommodations in Launceston

so quite and peaceful, would definitely stay again

West Moor View - Where do i begin? Absolutely Perfect - Doesnt even come close on how to describe it. The property is beyond amazing, it genuinely exceeded my expectations. As a lone traveler with a dog, i am (always) a little nervous to go away but West Moor View had everything you could need. There was so many little touches that has definitely made this property stand out for me, from the bowls, treats and towels for the dog, to the fresh eggs and hamper on arrival - 1 of the reasons I booked the accommodation as it was my pups birthday (and i like to do something each year to celebrate) and when we arrived it had been decorated with a birthday banner, as well as pup getting a toy & dog cake (made me cry with joy). You literally had everything you could need in the property (which on our visit was ideal as the weather wasnt great, but that didnt stop us from enjoying our stay) - And TBH, it was nice to just so nice to 'do nothing' instead of being at 100pmh+ like i would be at home. Caught up on some films / documentaries too on Netflix (supplied by host) The property is easy to find and in a great location... The views are outstanding Your not far from anywhere if you want to go and explore Cornwall etc.... We took trips to Looe, Liskeard, Launceston and Golitha Falls (which even in the rain was beautiful). There is also a cafe (The Coffee Cup) which is a few minutes by car from the property and while im not a cake fan, i treated myself and was so impressed i went back the following day and bought some more). And communication with the hosts is just brilliant. I have to say, i think this is genuinely 1 of the best places i have stayed in with my dog and cant recommend it enough

Great room. Large, self contained room, microwave and fridge. Comfortable bed, separate dining area and nice bathroom. Owner was great and advised us on places to go for a drink and eat. We were able to use the washing machine. Parking is off street and secure. Walking distance to the town centre. We used this location to travel to lands end for a day trip.

lovely location and facilities excellent as was host

The fresh scones In the fridge , the peaceful setting, the two bathrooms , the architecture .

The facilities were great. Lots of room; very clean; the host was marvellous when my phone wouldn't work to get the code.

The quiet, comfortable accomodation and the fact that although others were staying on site we had privacy.

Loved the hot tub , privacy and peaceful time we had there, nice view from main window too.

I loved everything about this property. It has everything you’ll need for your stay, fully equipped kitchen if you plan on cooking. There is a small shop in the village of Polyphant but it you’re staying for a time you’d probably want to go to Tesco’s in Launceston. We had relatives near by so didn’t require a car, but if you’re traveling to the Shippon you’d probably want one. The Cornish countryside is exquisite and the views from our room didn’t disappoint.

What a brilliant find! Ziggy has renovated it so a high standard but kept the unique character of the place. It was so good to hear from him of the history of the building and that the project continues as he works on a nice courtyard. I was lucky to have a nosey at the other suite as it was unoccupied and it too is completed to a high standard. Breakfast options were great and the kitchenette was well stocked during my stay. Lovley wee finishing touches like toiletries and big fluffy towels and fresh flowers didn't go unnoticed. It was nice to get a warm welcome from the cats who occupy the main house but not the guest accommodation each morning. Ziggy and Emma were great, nothing was an issue he was around all the time but not intrusive, gave me some brilliant recommendations in Launceton to eat drink and to visit along with the surrounding area. The town center is a stones throw away along with the castle. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay, I'll definitely be back!

Cozy spot with beautiful views over the countryside, warm, spotlessly clean, with lovely touches to decor, and welcome kit on arrival including a Cornish cream tea. Very friendly and helpful host as well!

We liked everything about this property, starting with the great communications with the host, their welcome gift of provisions for our stay, the immaculate interior & accessories in the watermill & the grounds surrounding the site. Location is perfect for visiting North or south coasts of Cornwall, or just relax on the deck & enjoy the peaceful nature of the venue. There is nothing the owners haven't thought of, to make this property a home away from home. If there was a rule book on how to create the perfect holiday home, then Sue & Will have taken it to the next level...Gold standard level 5 stars 🌟

Easy to park car, owner is very kind: give us a very good local bread for breakfast! Like the place!
