Access was simple and easy. The little flat was indeed cheerful, with calm and functional furnishings. It had all I needed for a few day's break and was in such a good position on the edge of the village.
The owner gave us the code to the lock box at the front door over the phone, because I forgot to re-read the email sent three or four weeks previously with the details about entry
Location was great. Just the right size for 2 people and had everything you could possibly need. Very clean and neat. Host left a lovely welcome pack. Great local places to eat and visit.
Gorgeous view - lots of space and cozy fireplace!
Bursting with charm. Cozy with everything you need (plus a Ninja air fryer!). Adjacent to the Solomon Browne community center, which had a Farmer's Market and Craft Fair while we were there. Very short walk to the Harbor. Great location for walking the Coastal Path (walk to Lamorna gorgeous and great for a dip in the cove and lunch at the cafe). Had a question about trash and Hayley picked right up and was happy to answer. Property seems very well managed.
What a gem! The cottage is just off the harbor, so a quick walk to everything, including the very useful bus into Penzance. Gail, the owner, is warm, welcoming and funny. We loved getting to know her and left feeling like we'd made a friend. The kitchen is brand new and top of the line, the beds comfy, and the shower is strong. We loved our stay at Abbey Cottage!
All the little added extras, milk & juice in the fridge, nice coffee and complimentary biscuits
Love the house and the house lord is very nice! We found the house without any problems with very clear instructions.
Stove access was great. Hot water ample. Clean and comfortable. Great location.
The perfect hideaway to fully enjoy the true charm and character of Cornwall. Perfectly appointed with clean, modern decor - it’s got everything you need - including 2 storey views, an outdoor patio…even an in suite washer/dryer combo! Warning: You won’t want to leave!
It was spacious with a lovely view from the balcony. The sunken hot tub in the bathroom was excellent. We loved how the towels had been folded making us smile from the moment we arrived. Attention to detail in this aspect was excellent. Glad we messaged before staying to get detailed instructions on how to get to the property as it is very tucked away and you would never find it without them.
Very spacious home with great size rooms. Two fridges! And a prosecco greeting! Great communication with the proprietor.
It was a great little apartment with a full kitchen including a washing machine/dryer. The setting is very quiet and restful, with a pool/spa available as well (we did not use either).
excellent accommodation for family Karen was a good host taking care of every detail for a comfortable stay. we clean and well maintained cottage had a folder with lots of info to make ones stay really enjoyable especially if not had an itinerary ready!! good facilities within the premises swimming pool very well maintained- was free for us as we stayed more than 3 days , laundette shop bar etc . also local supermarket such as teaco sainsbury morrison all within a few minutes drive - short drive to st erth or st ives, penzance st micheals mount minnack theatre and of course the lands end
The house is perfectly located for walking around the village. I was a solo traveler and felt very safe. The house is so well kept. Also, I needed to have contact with the owner 2 times regarding questions and she was punctual in responding back. If you've ever stayed somewhere and had a hard time contacting a host, you'll appreciate how important this is. Beds comfy. Shower hot. Fully equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook.
This property was very well equipped. It was lovely, very clean, comfortable and a great place to stay for a few nights.
The cottage was charming, spotless, had a washer/dryer and host left a lot of handy items such as milk, coffee, tea and cookies as well as cleaning supplies for the washing. Also, a binder with lots of great suggestions on where to go and what to do. Beds were comfy, hangers provided and shower was great.
The property is in an amazing location with one of the best views of Mount’s Bay. It was easy to park right by the cabin and locate the key safe to gain entry. The cabin itself has been recently built and is immaculately presented, it is clear to tell a lot of thought and effort has been put into making the space as warm and inviting as possible. All of the fixtures and fitting are of a very high quality and the space if full of lots of charming details, including; artwork on the walls by local artists, books about the local area, an artist’s easel on the mezzanine level (with art materials) and comfy bathrobes hanging in the bathroom. The most incredible and unique feature is the view over Mount’s Bay, which you are given a great opportunity to enjoy and appreciate due to the huge floor to ceiling windows. Everything about the space and the experience of staying here feels luxurious. Nick sent over all of the details of how to check into the property ahead of time and messaged to check to see if were happy with our stay, he was very attentive as a host which was very appreciated. Overall I would recommend staying at Nick and Bianca’s cabin, it offers a unique experience in a beautiful location with all the comforts you could ask for.
Very quiet cottage in a lovely garden setting. The cottage is spacious with separate bedroom and living/kitchen area plus an outside seating area . Plenty of space all around, inside and outside. Although set in a rural area, Penzance is only a 5 minute drive way. Claire and Ben are lovely hosts. We enjoyed our quiet time at Chyenhal Garden Cottage.
