Self-Catering Accommodations in Taynuilt

The most beautiful lodge, very modern. The hot tub was incredible and everything was so clean. They check the hot tub each morning to make sure it’s ready and are available if you need any help. Everyone was so friendly. Beautiful place to stay even for a couple of days or longer. Shop and petrol on site which is perfect.

Peaceful, very spacious, quality accommodation. Parking right outside house (free). We visited mid-June; accommodation was for two. Wood-burning fire in living room just perfect, enough for one night provided and extra wood available for purchase for a fiver. Kitchenette was very well-equipped, with complementary water, milk, home-made bread, butter, jam and chutney provided on arrival bestowing a lovely welcoming touch. Tea, coffee and coffee making pod facility available. Bathroom also well-appointed with basic toiletries provided (body wash, shampoo, hand cream). Shower with dual heads magic! Large dining table seating six in living room area. Loads of CDs and games etc. for rainy days. The two staff/proprietors we met were pleasant, approachable and helpful. Wooded area outside a delight to walk around. Paths well-maintained and wheelchair accessible, though you can drift off the beaten path into the wooded area itself. There are picnic and barbecue areas both close to the house and downhill at a large, covered area, although we didn't indulge so not sure whether fuel for barbie available on-site (though given the excellent facilities available throughout the property, it probably is). Village of Taynuilt with attendant pub and local shop less than five minutes drive away, easily walkable along mostly flat or slight- to moderately-inclined country road, so traversable in a wheelchair (although our compromised mobility at the time meant we didn't try walking). Would probably take about fifteen to twenty minutes at leisurely pace. Food available at pub and staff there very nice. Think there was a restaurant area but we stuck to the bar. Oban about twenty minutes drive away if you need a civilization fix, loads of more out-of-the-way restaurants and eateries within easy driving distance. For a sunny day's lazy, al fresco dining looking out onto Loch Creran, can recommend The Creagan Inn, also about twenty minutes away.

Beautiful property. Spacious cottage! Loved the small town. Owners put a lot of time researching places to go, eat , cycle, visit… even for folks who didn’t have a car. Very nicely done. Nice to have laundry facilities on site too. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy.

Clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The shower gave a generous amount of hot water.

We loved our stay at Airdeny Chalets over the week of Christmas. The hosts are lovely and reception is close by if you need anything, they're on site and very kind. Our kids had a lovely time at the property as well as the beautiful park just 5 minutes up the road. We were in the 3 bedroom chalet which had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable bedding and a kitchen completely stocked with cookware and dishes. We would definitely stay again at this property! Thank you Constanze and Robert!

The property was very beautiful. I loved the mountain view, absolute highlight of staying here. The free grazing chickens and cats were so friendly and curious. The house having its own private lawn was really cool. The hosts seemed very friendly, we didn’t talk but they all looked naturally happy and would wave at us :)
