Self-Catering Accommodations in Valtos

Our stay at Cliff Cottage was just incredible. We loved everything! Starting with our amazon host who went above and beyond for us. She had even prepared something for our toddler - a baby bed, high chair, and more! It was so gracious! She had amazing tips for us even for rainy weather activities and was so easy to contact when we had questions. She even brought us extra coffee when we realized we had forgotten to pick some up. The house is completely stocked with anything you might need. We stayed nearly a week and we felt right at home. We had a fire going every night and played games and made a cozy fire. The location is quiet and beautiful. Sheep, deer and rabbits were all seen from our window each day. It was a great starting point for daily walks and trips around the Isle. We would love to return again and stay at Marie's place! Can't wait! This trip will live in our memories for a long long time!

We loved the charm and comfort of our bothy/room. It had everything needed plus way more. The hosts provided so many extras!! We loved the homemade bread and jam and the fresh scallops. I've never stayed anywhere before that showed this level of thoughtfulness and hospitality.

The location was exceptional. Close to lots of interesting things to see, but the views from the bunkhouse were very special!

Otter Bothy is perfectly equipped for a very comfortable stay. We wanted for nothing. The view is magical. Ducks and otters in the morning.

Fantastic view from a beautifully decorated suite. New construction. Lovely linens and towels and luxurious tub and bath. The unit has a kitchen, wood burning stove and small outdoor sitting area. I highly recommend picking up some food at the great market about 3 miles away (closes at 5:00) to cook a dinner yourself so you can enjoy the beautiful room, view, and peace and quiet. We had dinner at the UIG Sands Restaurant on property. The menu is fixed price for 3 courses for 90 GBP. After reading the rave reviews, we were expecting to be blown away, but dinner was just okay and quite expensive for quality received.

Unbelievable! Not a 5 Star Hotel, MUCH BETTER! The wide beauty, the weather and the wide life , AMAZING!

Cottage was in a great central location. Very peaceful setting to settle into the evening. Amenities were as described online.

The location was lovely and it was such a comfortable stay, it truly felt like a home from home! I hope to be able to visit again in the future.
