This immaculate roomy apartment was a perfect place to stay to explore Stornoway and the sights of Lewis. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped for cooking and dining. The living room was bright and comfortable, with a variety of books available to read as well as a television and wifi. It is close to Tesco and other markets to easily purchase food. We were able to walk to Lews Castle, the grounds and Museum through lovely pathways. The owners were friendly, accommodating and available to help with check-in and any questions we had about the apartment. We rented a car, so we appreciated the ample free parking.

My wife and I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many, many accommodations for many, many years. With that said, this is the best place we have ever stayed—seriously. First of all everything work perfectly—I mean everything. It was spotlessly clean and neat, and the kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of towels—and very comfortable beds. It was very quiet, private, and had a nice well cared for yard. After a couple of days my wife and I started to comment that the landlords of this place must have gone to hotelier school in Switzerland. Also, very good communications with the landlords. And the big bonus is that the immediate neighborhood, as well as the small town of Stornoway, was safe and really nice to explore with some good restaurants too. In addition, there’s plenty to do on Lewis and Harris. It’s a 10+ for 10 Berisay Place. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

THE MOST COMPLETELY EQUIPPED KITCHEN WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN A SELF-CATERING RENTAL. THE SMALLEST DETAILS WERE ATTENDED TO. OVERALL THE ATTENTION TO DETAILS WAS TO BE ADMIRED. THE REFRIGERATOR WAS STACKED BEYOND ESSENTIALS. BARBARA HAD PROVIDED HOMEMADE BAKED GOODS INCLUDING HER FAMOUS FRUIT AND NUT BREAD, I COULD GO ON.

This was probably one of the best places I have ever stayed and I have travelled around the world multiple times. Very quiet area, beautiful views of the ocean, beautiful home with tons of room, and it literally has everything you need. You know how when you stay in some places and it might as well be a hospital room, not this one! It is a home and it feels like a home. My family and I stayed here for a weaving workshop that happened to be just up the road and it was WONDERFUL!! Absolutely love this place and would stay here again 100%.

Beautiful home with all essentials. Bacon and eggs milk and bread were there for arrival. Very kind. Fantastic views of the sea.

Ahead of our stay, Angela was great at coming back to any questions we had - even a special request for Sunday newspapers - thank you 🙏The house is ideally situated in a lovely, quiet street but close to Stornoway for food shopping,eating out etc. Sitting in the living room, looking out to sea after a day exploring the stunning island is perfect. The house itself is beautifully decorated with all amenities needed. I have no hesitation in recommending Angela’s house - it really is a perfect base for a holiday in Lewis.
