Self-Catering Accommodations in Krousón

The hospitality was outstanding, just like the food made with fresh, local ingredients. The quietness and the views were almost otherworldly and at night, so many stars were visible in the sky. The pool was nice and well-cleaned. In summer, it's a little colder than down in the valleys which is a welcome change. Be sure to bring a cardigan, sweater or light jacket with you even in summer as the wind can be strong and at night, it can get cold.

Beautiful property in a lovely mountainous area. Lots of room and very nice veranda. Close to several nice bakeries as well, locals were really lovely even though it was winding down to the end of season.

There is lots of space and we had such a good time at the villa!

Eleni is an amazing host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her cooking is absolutely delicious, the rooms are beautiful, and the entire property was perfect. Coffe in the morning with the mountain views was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

The location is very private and lovely, surrounded by olive groves and citrus trees. There is a road that winds up behind the house that makes a beautiful hike with nice views.

Friendly, helpful hosts, amazing traditional food, spacious and comfortable roo, and the restaurant has a beautiful view to the sea and mountains.

We stayed a week at this wonderful home. The house itself is spacious and gorgeous! It is situated on a hill, offering breathtaking and heart-expanding views of the olive trees, and the sea in the distance. The rooms are beautiful, and the balconies are charming. The hosts were incredibly kind, accessible, and helped us navigate and discover beautiful spots in the area. As a bonus, our kids really enjoyed the games in the house and the cool, refreshing pool. Watching the sunset at the end of the day, gazing at the stars at night, feeling the breeze and listening to the whistling wind all contributed to a deep feeling of connecting with nature and disconnecting from daily noise. It was really the best of all worlds, being isolated and quiet, but within walking distance of a charming village and with beaches with crystal-clear water just a short drive away. This place is highly recommended in every possible way, and we truly hope to visit again.

Truly enjoyed spending time with our hosts and their suggestions and advice which made our trip even better.

The apartment was very beautiful. Everything was perfectly clean and well equipped. The host is amazing and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Very nice people, with fruits, water and even sweet tooth in the fridge. Nicely updated with jacuzzi that we appreciated with an awesome view.

Very clean and pristine location

Beautiful and comfortable outdoor area

We loved our stay at Villa Dione — it’s beautifully designed, modern yet warm, with real attention to detail in every corner. The space feels calm and inviting, and everything — from the beds to the kitchen — is comfortable and well thought out. The hosts were wonderful: friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful. We even forgot an item after checkout, and they kindly brought it all the way to Heraklion for us — amazing hospitality. 🙏 Although we visited in October and didn’t use the pool, the garden and outdoor areas are clearly designed with care and have great potential for summer stays. There’s easy parking, great amenities, and everything just works smoothly. The location is perfect — close to beaches and attractions, yet peaceful and away from the crowds. Absolutely recommended — stylish, serene, and hosted by genuinely good people. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This location is spectacular! It all started with such a warm welcome from the marvelous host. The house is comfortable and well equipped with amazing views of the surroundings. We certainly recommend this place for lovers of nature and more quiet surroundings!
