Self-Catering Accommodations in Sofiko

The house was a perfect size and in the perfect location. The town is small so no where is far but the house is right off the Main Street, it’s a literal 5-10 minute walk to everything. The courtyard was perfect for our kiddos to run around and burn off energy but we spent most days at the beach. The house is stocked with just about everything we needed!

Amazing rooms, spacious with superb surroundings. The staff are absolutely amazing and supportive . The sea is pretty close and restaurants are in walking distance. Highly recommended!

The only problem with this place is that we eventually had to leave. I honestly don’t even know where to begin. We’ve stayed in many beautiful places over the years, but NOTHING has ever come close to this experience. First of all, the house. Calling it a house almost feels insulting. It’s an absolute masterpiece. HUGE, breathtakingly beautiful, incredibly spacious, and filled with so many wonderful details that you could spend an entire week just discovering them. It honestly felt like staying in a private museum, except you get to live in it! But as extraordinary as the property is, the real magic is the family behind it. Gurmat, his wonderful wife Gita, and their three lovely children made our stay something we will remember forever. Their kindness, generosity, and hospitality were simply beyond anything we’ve ever experienced. They took care of EVERYTHING. And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. From fixing the hot water to taking care of the lights outside, closing every door we left open by mistake and making sure every little detail was perfect. It almost felt unreal. They genuinely cared about us and went above and beyond to make our entire family feel at home. We came as a big family, and somehow this place managed to give us everything we needed: space to be together, space to enjoy some privacy, incredible surroundings, and memories we’ll cherish forever. The property itself is so beautiful that pictures simply cannot do it justice. Every corner feels special, and the peace and privacy are priceless. Now, I suppose I should mention a few downsides… The house is ridiculously big. You might actually get lost. It’s so beautiful that you’ll constantly feel the need to take pictures. It’s quite secluded, and there’s not much happening in the immediate surroundings, which means you might find yourself spending your entire vacation at the property instead of exploring Greece. And worst of all?

A nice spacious flat on the 2nd floor, with beautiful views from its three balconies. We went there in early April to explore archeological sites in Peloponnese and around Athens, so my main criteria was originally the location. I'm glad I'd found this place, so we could do our trips to Mycenae, Olympia, Sparta, Nafplion, Athens, Delphi, etc. I am sure it would also be great for a traditional 'belly up' Summer stay, as it even has a small beach 20m from the house and the flat itself is well equipped for Summer heats (tiled floors, AC). Our host was always available to help us if we had any questions. All in all, would definitely recommend.

This has got to be the best holiday apartment that we have even rented. Newly constructed, beautifully decorated interior; grounds nicely planted; well-equipped facilities; great location - what more could you ask for? This is one of three apartments nicely put together on a site close to a lovely blue flag beach – two one bedroomed ones and one two bedroomed one, all equipped to the same high standard (we checked out the other two after the clients had left). Safe off-street parking. Well equipped kitchen for those who wish to do some cooking—full cooker, fridge freezer; microwave; washing machine; coffee making; cooking utensils; sink with a plug. Clothes drying rack (not just promised as in other locations we have rented but actually delivered). Nice patio to eat outdoors. Very short walking distance to a very clean blue flag beach for swimming, lazing in the sun and also with nice places to eat out. Even shorter walking distance to a corner store. 2 good supermarkets in the nearby village of Loutra Oreas Elesis. 90 minutes from Athens airport. 20 lovely beaches to try within 30 minutes maximum drive. Archaeological and Biblical site at Ancient Corinth just 20 minutes away by car. Friendly, helpful neighbour couple who even loaned us a vacuum cleaner to remove the vast amount of sand from our hire car (wife speaks good English) and gave us some fruit/veg from their garden. Very kind hostess/owner couple. We hope to return! N.B. we have not been paid to do this review!

The place was very clean, quiet, comfortable, great location, wonderful owners! Great experience!!

Nice and well organized apartment. All is new and clean .

Everything was great! I liked that there was a washing machine — we were able to do our laundry. The air conditioner in the bedroom is extremely quiet in night mode; it's a superb Mitsubishi unit.
