Self-Catering Accommodations in Clifden

We managed to get one of the 3 free parking slots outside the accommodation. Entry was easy with good instructions.

Spacious and comfortable. Private, quiet and with an amazing view. Host was lovely and even provided us an extra bedding set upon request. Highly recommended for Connemara adventures.

Wonderful location with a stunning view overlooking Ardbear Bay. The 2 bedroomed apartments are very well equipment and furnished with everything you need. We stayed in number 6 for 1 night and number 2 for another 3 nights as we added an extra night at the start of our trip. The host was very accommodating letting us move before the usual check-in time between apts on our second day which make things seemless. The apartments couldnt be any better located right in the centre of Clifden, above Ravi's bar/restaurant which is very popular and close to Supervalu for any self-catering needs. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Metered parking available on-street which is free after 6pm until around 11am the next morning. The seaweed baths are on the lower ground floor below the apts. The rear apts overlooking the bay are quieter than those facing the street. Looking forward to staying in these apartments again in the future.

Vimy House is compact but still feels roomy. The cozy little chalet has everything you need - kitchen, laundry. And it’s walkable (carefully) to some fantastic views along Sky Road and a beach.

Beautiful and very practical location. The house was compact, comfortable and spotlessly clean.

It felt authentic. We enjoyed making a fire in the stove in the evening. It was very easy and we had everything we needed.

Beautiful cottage in even more beautiful location! Marie, the host, was very helpful upon our arrival, showing us around the property and explaining how everything worked. Great spot to explore the Connemara!

Beautiful townhouse. Location was ideal, just a few mins walk to the centre of Clifden town. It's also right beside the Clifden Station House Hotel and Signal Restaurant, so plenty of options for dining out. The townhouse was beautifully presented, impeccable cleanliness, with all modern amenities. We had great comfort during our stay. I needed to contact the host on arrival, who was very helpful and even called up to the property to see that we were settling in ok. A big thank you to Yvonne for her kindness, understanding and generosity. She gave us a free late check out on the last day. It was comforting to know that Connemara Lettings has a host available to respond to a call, outside of office hours, as we didn't arrive until after 5pm. All in all, a property I would highly recommend to visitors. A great base for exploring the Connemara region.
