Lovely house with great view, all the amenities you need and peaceful, quiet seclusion. It rained when we were there so we couldn’t make use of the outdoor seating options but the enclosed conservatory was perfect. Loved every moment we spent here!

We stayed here our last night of an 11 day trip and it was excellent. Incredible location. Beautiful, big house that was great for cooking for a large group. There were 4 beds in the main house (2 in the same room upstairs, 1 just at the top of the stairs not in a room, 1 in a room downstairs) and 1 bed in the guest house. Hot tub and sauna were delightful, we spent a couple hours watching the Northern Lights from the hot tub which is something we will never forget. Hosts were very responsive to questions and came out to look at the hot tub when it wasn’t getting hot. Beds were comfy.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Kjósahreppur, Hvammsvík Nature Resort is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

The property was amazing. All of the thought that went into the details were over the top! Heated floor in bathroom and entry way, candles throughout the house, binoculars, a book of very helpful information, the washer/dryer, shampoo/conditioner, Q-tips and face wash pads, dishwasher soap, amazing water, and a path down to the beach!

It was very spacious. The view is spectacular: You can enjoy beautiful fjords seating in the living area with a cup of tea or coffee. Easy to find. The owner is wonderful, accommodating and extremely helpful.

Property was easily located. Once inside very clean and comfortable. Many “extra” details noted including charging area, some toiletries. Soft towels. The sofa bed converted easily and was large and comfortable. Would be great as a low key getaway but also a nice home base for a small family. Games, maps and information on area attractions all available. We easily could have done much of our touring from there.
