Self-Catering Accommodations in Selfoss

Highly recommend. Staff is friendly and the little cottages are so adorable. It is not far from the town so we were able to go out and come back without having to drive far.

The kids really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The rooms were very clean and we all enjoyed the large social space.

We loved this place. It felt very cozy, with large common areas and a very nice hot tub to enjoy in the middle of the nature.

Nice place to explore the area from. Nice views as well.

Nice dogs, which guide you to the property. So you won't get lost :) There is a nice shared kitchen, where you can find dishes and stuff to cook. The shower is shared one, but you have own toilet. There are twin beds. There is enough room to put your stuff. there is also a small refrigerator and a kettle in your room. It is warm and comfy. Many horses around to watch! Owner is very friendly.

The apartment was clean and simple, but well appointed and comfortable.

Comfortable. Good location. Helpful hosts

Very unique, very comfortable, lots of storage space, well equipped kitchen

Beautiful and well-appointed rooms. Everything someone could want or need.

The view was amazing and there were horses on the farm right outside the cabin that we got to photograph. Place was clean and cozy.

The absolute best apartment we stayed at during our entire trip to Iceland! We felt incredibly lucky because the apartment was brand new and we could actually see the Northern Lights directly from the window. The owner was exceptionally kind and helpful—we accidentally scorched a pot a little bit, but they were incredibly understanding and didn't charge us for it. To top it off, the room was ready much earlier than the official check-in time.

Cozy clean place with a nice host

We loved this cozy cabin! Very well equipped kitchen and good bathroom with a hot shower. The location is perfect right at the end of the golden circle. We booked it on short notice because it was raining and we couldn't stay in our tent. It's the dream cabin: cozy, warm, comfy beds and well equipped. Super good deal!

Very cozy and clean apartment :) had everything we needed to cook a little dinner. The hosts were very friendly and they have some cute horses on the property.

Beautiful property. Modern, clean, well stocked kitchen with spices. Nice living space and beautiful view from the cottage. It was isolated - but not too isolated.

Everything was really nice I love it so much

Everything was great. You have all the things you may need and the house it is clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was a plus, we were able to see the aurora from there.

Host is very nice and very responsive. Place is very clean

The location is so great. Nice and secluded and beautiful. Amazing view of the falls and northern lights

Spacious and has everything we needed. Hot tub was a plus

This was one of the best places we’ve stayed! The house was perfect for an extended family of 8! There was plenty of room, great amenities and cooking ware for meals. The hosts were AMAZING!! They helped us jump start our car and plow us out. It was very centrally located to a lot of golden circle attractions.

Perfect location, modern appliances, sharp knives in the kitchen :) Great communication with the host. We would be glad to come back again.

The cottage was very comfortable, warm, enough space inside and lots of space outside. Our son enjoyed playing with the dogs. Remote so good for Northern lights viewing (no light pollution). Close to Golden circle sights. I wish we were staying longer. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare some dinner and breakfast (there is nothing close by, 20min to Selfoss).

We had a very good time in this house. It was clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The kids loved the hot tub and the coffee machine which had hot chocolate capsules included. :-) The house is well located in the golden circle, there are many things to explore.

Location, cleanliness, responsiveness of staff.

This place was absolutely amazing and had a great price. The interior had absolutely everything you need, was so nicely decorated and everything. And we saw the northern lights right from the front parking lot. Also the owner was very responsive and nice!

Everyone had their own space, the kitchen was great for making a few meals and we could eat as a family. The ping pong and chess in the exterior patio space was a great bonus. I’d love to come back and watch for auroras again, the windows are amazing. Reading thru the experiences of other guests in the guest book was very neat. Really neat public forest space just to the west that we could walk to. Owner was very kind, helpful and responsive. Thanks so much!

Great house ! All was excellent 😊

Seamless check-in, love the location, it was easy to find. The home amenities were complete for our group of 4. We were able to cook, have a good hot shower and enjoyed the stars right outside the deck. Definitely will return when we come back to Iceland!
