Communicative and helpful hosts -- they even made up the sofa bed when we mentioned that we would be using it. The place was as described and well located for the golden circle part of our trip. Nice traditional style country house but also updated and comfortable. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen.

Perfect location as we wanted to visit the Secret Lagoon. So private and quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable, warm. Really nice little kitchen. I especially appreciated the detailed check in information with GPS coordinates and how to contact the owner if necessary.

I know there's some negative reviews, mainly about overbooking, but the property is under a new ownership and the new owners seem to be dedicated to turn around the property. We didn't have hot water on the second night, but the owner came right away and fixed it, and it was due to construction in the area rather than the property's own flaw. Two cabin share a hot tub. It's still great as long as you can figure out the time share with your neighbours. The cabin sleeps four, when the sofa bed is opened it gets a bit crowded, so I would rather recommend it for a couple or for families. It's right off the Golden Circle and the old Kerlingarfjöll track is close by as well.

The kitchen was clean and it was easy to find all that we needed to use. The host was helpful and informative. The location was convenient to our travels throughout Iceland's great sights.

An amazing stay in a spacious, spotlessly clean house with two separate bedrooms and a generous living and dining area — ideal for families with kids. The private geothermal hot tub in the evening is pure magic and an absolute highlight. The host was exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout — always just a message away. Highly recommend and would return without hesitation!

Exceptional! After a long drive, we checked into our beautiful apartment and were able to chill in the lagoon. The hosts let me check in earlier- that was very kind of them! Beautiful rooms with a shared kitchen. Super calm at night. I loved strolling around. Strongly recommend!

This truly was a cozy, charming home equipped with everything that you need to ensure that your stay in Iceland is perfect. Everything was comfortable, clean and well kept. After long days of exploring we always looked forward to arriving back at the house to rest and relax. Good instructions to help find the home and prompt replies from the owner.
