We booked because it was close to the airport and we had a short overnight stopover. The host was extremely helpful and very understanding since we don't speak very much Italian and were very jet-lagged. Other things we liked: 5 minutes taxi ride to airport, clean, compact and comfortable. Though not in a shopping or restaurant precinct, we enjoyed the short walk to Fiumicino centre to find dining options. The location is quiet.

Tra cielo e mare, a property with a garden, is located in Fiumicino, 30 km from Piazza Navona, 31 km from Colosseum, as well as 31 km from Spanish Steps.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment before our flight to Scotland. Everything was exceptionally clean, tidy, comfortable, and very well maintained. The host was incredibly friendly, kind, and trustworthy. She welcomed us personally, showed us around, explained everything clearly, and was always available whenever we had a question. The whole experience was smooth and pleasant from beginning to end. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of. We were so satisfied that we booked the apartment again for our return journey. Highly recommended!
