The location could not be better in Menaggio. You have a good value for the Money but we had Apartment Nr. 6 you see they would have to do some work (the Wooden Floor needs some and the Window in the shower ) Roberto the host was lovely and so kind.

the locatin is on the main circle of the town , the hosts took care of everything she gave us free parking and for someone that took our suitcases to our room and for someone that took us to a supermarket and back to the room , the place was fully furnished nothing was missing the kitchen wasnt missing a thing and there were a lot of shits and towels .

Simone & Silvia, the hosts at La Stalletta, take their role as hosts very seriously, going far out of their way to advise and assist if you need it. The apartment was spotlessly clean and generously & thoughtfully stocked. The bed was comfortable and there were additional blankets & pillows. The shower room was large and well-equipped. The kitchen / diner / lounge included all you need to self-cater and opens on to a balcony. Including a washing machine, iron & board, dishwasher, oven & hob, coffee machine & kettle, microwave & sandwich toaster, it really is home away from home. The location is quiet & charming, with gorgeous views on the walk down to the lake. The walk back includes some steep slopes & stairs, but taxi numbers are posted around town. We can also highly recommend the Trattoria La Vecchia Magnolia, which is within a minute’s walk.
