Self-Catering Accommodations in Isumi

It's very clean and beautiful inside, I don't think we could have found a spot of dirt if we tried. Everything is new, cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. We slept well on the beds. It's walking distance from a very good beach (Taito). The host is kind and responsive and provides detailed information.

This 100+ year old traditional Japanese house was charming and melded the traditional and modern together nicely. We visited in late March and the weather was great, before mosquito season, and frogs were heard croaking throughout the day. We opted for the BBQ package and enjoyed a fun time grilling and eating dinner outdoors. Teppey-san, owner/property manager, was very friendly, helpful, and readily available. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a calming countryside experience. Location was great. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped overall, great tea and coffee. Nice bathroom towels. Outside area was spacious. Bicycles were a must and fantastic addition. Fire pit and instruction manual were all really clear, allowing us to really make the most of our stay. Local partnerships are really nice. We had lunch at Smitty’s and that was wonderful. Wifi was strong. Perfectly usable for streaming, work calls etc. All tools for starting a BBQ/fire were readily available. Loved how well equipped the cabin was, from coffee filter to Balmuda lantern. Everything we generally felt we needed was there.
