I stayed one night at Junos, when I walked the Shikoku 88 temple pilgrimage. What I like about this accommodation is that it’s different from all the other ones, in a positive way. It’s modern and cosy at the same time. Everything you need is there: fresh and clean room, great bathroom, washing-/drying machine, a kitchen where you can make a cup of tea. And nearby there’s a bakery, convenience store and several restaurants. Last but not least, the people who run the place are very friéndly and helpful. Junos was really a little gem during my pilgrimage.

It's a great place to stay after a long walk as a Henro. Takeshi-san is a great host and will make your stay even for one night as carefree as possible. He's very generous and the rooms and amenities were very adequate on the Pilgrimage.

It was peaceful, like a well appointed Japanese cottage. It had space for privacy and space for community. There was lots of info around to become informed on what the town had to offer. You could feel the love and care that the owners give it.
