Self-Catering Accommodations in Takemiya

Clean, comfortable, spacious. It is good for a family vacation. The owner even provided 2 bicycles for riding around town.

Easy Location, nice street view, comfortable, vintage house surrounding... everything goods n comfort..like to book again if comeback to Kyushu..😘

I had the single room and the bed was so comfortable. Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was fantastic. Hiromi and Stan were lovely hosts. I highly recommend doing the tea ceremony, Hiromi was more than happy to share her culture and knowledge. Free pass to a local bathhouse which was huge and quite the experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you SO MUCH for helping us with our lost luggage! Our host was so helpful and gracious for helping us in our little predicament. The house is incredibly comfy, I really wish I stayed longer. They have an amazing traditional tea room, and the terrace room comes with a really nice massage chair! Breakfast was absolutely amazing as well. Thanks so much!!!

Very Huge!! Good for family Good Communication as well

Great place with very cheap price considering all the services you get. Room and all the equipment are comfortable and very functional. What exceeded our expectations was the free barbecue dinner arrangement, where the hotel provided all the drinks, vegetables, rice, seasoning, grill, and all equipment for free! You only need to buy your own meat. At this price, I couldn't believe how much they offer to the customers.

Everything!! The hosts are the best that I have met in Japan. They greeted us when we got there, prepared gifts for my children and myself. Showed us around and were super nice. They even showed us their place which is connected to the suite we were staying! I love all the amenities they have. The beddings are very soft, they had soft and firm pillows to choose from, they had games for the kids, and best of all, a washer and dryer!!!!! We love every moment of it and my kids said this is the best house! I will come back to stay longer next time.

Beautiful space - classic. You can tell the host has put a lot of care into it.

The rating attracted us, but it was way too high.

Very thing! Polite host, clean rooms, cosy room, full kitchen, easy free parking for self-drive and more.

This worked out great for our family (2 adults, 3 kids ages 10, 7, 6). It is very close to Kumamoto Zoo and not far from castle. It is on the 4th floor so keep that in mind if you have any mobility limitations. There is a parking spot, we had a Mitsubishi Delica van, which worked out ok but was a little long for the space. If you have a longer van it might overhang into the sidewalk too much. Very nice outdoor porch and cool view of the streetcar line below. We were a little sad to only spend 1 night, maybe next time we can stay longer!

We are a family consisting of the daddy and two kids of 6 and 7 years old. We stayed at this property for the vacation of 7 nights and 8 days very recently. The host lady was very friendly and extremely helpful. She recommended to us as a family with kids some great tourist attractions and fun things to do. She picked us up and dropped us off free of charge at the local bus station for the bus coming from and going back to FUK. She called and arranged local taxi for us. It was very convenient to have a big grocery store within a short walking distance. it was very convenient to have a washing machine on site. A big balcony with multi-tiers hangers can be used to dry the washed clothes. A series of facilities such as AC, heater, and kitchen facilities like oven, two stove burners and a built-in toaster, microwave, rice cooker, utensils, etc. are available although we didn't not get chance to use them all. Environment-friendly garbage disposal system inside and around the apartment.

I enjoyed the entire facility. Very clean and quiet. The ability to cook your own meals is great. The small living room to relax is amazing.

Really nice apartment with more space than usual for Japan. Good facilities: you have a fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, washing machine, etc. There are 2 comfortable sofas as well as 2 upholstered chairs and a normal size dining table and chairs. You can sleep either on the fold out sofa bed or up in the loft. Friendly host and cleaning staff (family?).

Hi! Since the room was spacious, all sections (bed, kitchen, bathroom, etc.) were separated and easy to clean. In addition to standard amenities, I specially appreciate that the room was equipped with many cooking tools and detergents, making it so comfortable to prepare late-night snacks after long day-trips around Kumamoto!
