Beautifully designed and so close to nature. We could see so many birds and hear the monkeys while sitting in front of the cabana. Fully functional kitchen to make coffee and breakfast, yet close enough to restaurants to go out for dinner. Also, just around the corner from the archeological site.

What a gem! If you are hesitating between this apartment or a hotel, stay in Lunas Apartment! It is HUGE and super comfy. We had everything we needed and the attention to detail was absolutely delightful. Plus the location is ideal, right between the ADO bus station and the city center. This in itself deserves a 10/10, but on top of that our host was very reactive and helpful. We could store our luggage early before check-in and after check-out. He provided us with lots of great recommendations and was very attentive to our needs. All in all a perfect stay for a reasonable price. Can't recommend it enough!

The host is really helpful and thoughtful, preparing bottled water and taco snacks as small gifts. The apartment has everything you need and you can make your own meals. I managed to make an early check-in and the host helped me with some advice about taxi price ranges and agencies of local tours. The apartment is 15 minutes walking distance from ADO station, where you find colectivos to ruins and elsewhere. A big supermarket is around 15 minutes walk but you can find small convience store just nearby. In case you want to go to the city center without walking, many taxis pass by the area and cost around 40-50 pesos, while shuttle vans cost 10 pesos.
