The location was very convenient for us. The little cozy taverna is in 2 minutes walking distance to eat and to have drinks. The apartment is super clean and very organized, it has everything needed and beyond. AC in each room. The road is quiet and not noisy. The hostess Vitoria is very friendly and helpful. She filled in the refrigerator with plenty of drinks , wines, beers, juice, milk. and local foods like cheeses, breads and chorizo. Wonderful cozy apartment with great view out of the balcony. Big yard and walking passes into the mountain forest, that belongs to the property. Vitoria has several dogs, and her place is a fun as well if you have pets with you. We stayed there two nights, and were happy. Our little puppy was happy also. Parking for the car is just In front of the house and also the owner suggested to park the car inside of gates if we would want. We recommend this place .

The house is very comfortable and extra spacious. Rooms are cozy and kitchen well-equipped. The location is just about right, just a couple of minutes from the city, but far enough to feel like you're all by yourself in the beautiful Serra da Estrela region. Teresa, our host, was ready to support us at all times and made our stay much better.

We stayed in the second foor apartment with a small balcony accessed by an initial flight of steep stairs from the street through a green door and then through a foyer to another flight of spiralling wooden stairs to the apartment. The apartment is clean and cosy with heaters in every room which was great as the weather was wet and windy. Sitting at the large table in the kitchen looking at the view was one of our favourite spots and when the sun came out opening the french doors to the balcony was lovely. There is a bakery downstairs with friendly owners. We wandered around this hilly place and enjoyed the walk along the creek. Tome was always quick to respond to our questions and we were lucky to get a parking spot on the opposite side of the one way street right opposite the door. If you have a lot of luggage you need to consider the parking and the stairs but this place is a gem!

    The location is great, very central. There is always free space to park in the street and the small market in the ground floor is quite convenient. Manteigas is very charming and amazing for exploring Serra da Estrela. The flat was spacious (we were 4), clean, and nice. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for cooking simple meals. I would definitely stay in this place again. Love the stuffed goats in the rooms.

    The property itself was wonderful with a picturesque view. The location is just something! The house was pretty big, with plenty of space and three bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. It is extremely clean. We had a wonderful hike in Manteigas also!
