Quiet cabin tucked in the woods on the bay, full kitchen and great host!

This property is meticulously clean and has high end furnishings and finishes. The appliances are new and top-notch. We prepared meals several times and the kitchen was fully furnished with everything needed to prepare full meals. The design of this property both indoors and outdoors is beautifully done with attention to the smallest detail. The area was very quiet and outdoor furniture on both the front porch and the back porch provided a lovely reading space amid the bright colors of Fall foliage. The mattresses are firmly comfortable and the linens are beautiful. There is generous space for clothing and storage of suitcases. Shower pressure is the best ever! Bathrooms are designed for superb function and exquisite beauty. The overall ambience is welcoming, warm, comfortable, and beautiful. We used the fireplace daily and it provided a lovely ambience for relaxing on cool evenings. Our hosts were attentive to detail, prompt with answers to all questions, and non-intrusive while being attentive to our every need. Clearly a great deal of thought, planning, and expertise went into the creation of this beautiful space. We recommend this property highly with no reservations. It is truly a haven within the haven of Bayfield and environs.

Wonderful place. Great food and grounds

The space was absolutely gorgeous. We had a minuscule issue of not having shampoo and conditioner but the host was so responsive and had an area of backup shampoo and conditioner for us to grab. The only thing we didn’t have was a pan for breakfast, only pots. The area near here has everything you need. A bookstore behind it, restaurants all around, the lake a block away. It was perfect and we will be staying there again when we come back. The bedroom was cozy and even though we were in the basement there was a bough sunlight to feel like we were on the main level. The kitchen was big enough to sit around the island and play board games and the living room was lovely for watching tv or playing video games.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Port Superior! The space was perfect for our group of 5 and 2 dogs, and there was room for one more person. The apartment was comfy and clean and very easy to get to and is just a short distance from Bayfield. And our hosts gave great recommendations for food in the area. Would definitely stay there again!

The location was perfect and the view was exquisite. The house had a large yard and extra large shoreline frontage to watch the sunrise. The house was immaculate and well appointed. The owners equipped the house with everything we could possibly need. I highly recommend. When I booked online, I was hoping the cabin (blue house) was decent and clean but when we arrived it far exceeded my expectations and was extremely delighted. We’ll return again - but with more friends. Tons of awesome hiking trails nearby. Lots of great restaurants within 5-10 minute drive. There is a full sized kitchen, refrigerator, dishwasher so you could easily cook family meals in the house.
