The property hosts were so gracious and kind! What a stunning place they provide!! It went above our expectations!! Everything was so nicely put together, I loved the homemade jam and also the complimentary wine was such a treat!! The bed very comfortable, we slept great! The details throughout the apartment are so adorable!! The backyard views are phenomenal, we caught a wonderful sunset there!!!

The property was tucked away very close to the beach and harbor area in a seemingly quieter part of town. The office was located at the front of the main building and easily accessible. There was enough parking to park right in front of our room. The lady at the front desk was extremely personable and a lovely character to speak to about the local area and Oregon in general. The suite itself was fantastic, it included a fully functional kitchen, a small dining area, and a private bedroom alongside the main one. The bathroom was nice, suite was clean and spacious.

We loved the apartment. It was very clean, had everything we could have needed. The location was perfect for our stay. I would recommend this place for anyone staying in Brookings OR. Looking forward to coming back again

Incredible view of the Rogue River valley from the deck and the hot tub. So relaxing!!!! Nice living area and kitchen. Note that there are only 4 foot ceilings in the loft area.

The house is very nice with comfy couches/ futons and lots of space for separate lounging and TV watching. Kitchen stocked when lots of useful items and plenty of dishes and cooking products. Loved that they have games, books, and tons of DVD's plus all the apps for watching your favorite shows on the large screen TV's. Hot tub is a great plus for extra relaxation. Huge shower and nice relaxing tub in master bathroom with all the amenities like shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, etc. There were many things there I didn't even need to pack. Outside seating area with firepit was lots of fun to gather round and keep warm. It's great that it's in an enclosed outside area to block the coastal wind but still enjoy the evenings.

The house had a beautiful view overlooking the ocean. The deck and bay windows made both outdoors and just sitting in the living room good views. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms were nice. We also enjoyed the access down to the beach - the trail and path down through the side of the hill were pretty easy to use, though it is steep enough that it feels like a longer walk up. :)

Happy Hoofers is more than your typical stay. It is a warm and wonderful experience to be nuzzled in the forest just a mere 6 miles from the beautiful Brookings coastline. This wonderful retreat is majestic, with trees surrounding the charming cottage which you can see has been well cared for and intentionally made hospitable. Margo was a great host. Friendly and helpful but also so pleasantly respectful of our privacy. Her dog Murphy was our companion for the weekend taking nicely to our little pug, often joining us on our short walks down the property's lovely trail for our morning trips down to to magical river bed with a cup of Joe and a blankie. What an absolute delight!

It was a good place to stay.I just didn't care for the stairs.I didn't notice that when I was booking it or I wouldn't have got it.I want ground floor and I didn't see that it wasn't ground floor other than that, it was awesome. Love. The Jacuzzi hot tub, whatever it is, couldn't have lived without that. There was a hole in the wall right at the bottom of the stairs on the paneling , and then right behind that it was a whole in the wall itself , that I noticed, and the toilet is a little too low to the floor for an old crippled lady i fell while trying to sit down on it. Thank God I was down to it and not get the floor I would suggest getting a little bit taller toilets. Other than that everything was fine.
