I really appreciated the drawer under the bed for safely storing my belongings. The entire place was cleaned daily. The space is small, but in a cozy, intimate way that naturally encourages connection with the other guests.

The hosts are so friendly and helpful, arranging everything for me and even taking the time to walk me to the colectivo station so I could get a cheaper ride back to the airport than possible with a taxi. The apartment itself has everything you need and there is a great grocery store around the corner, plus countless good restaurants and coffee shops in east walking distance. You get all the benefit of Santa Maria’s amenities without feeling cloistered in a resort.

This bed and breakfast is allergy-free and non-smoking. We were staying at Lafayette Alojamentos for a few days, and really enjoyed our stay there! The place really felt like a home for us: there was really clean, breakfasts were amazing, and the staff was really warm and kind. Special thanks to Candida (the hostess), who helped us to plan our holiday to be one of a kind!

Near everything you might need: beach, mini markets, bakery, restaurants.
