An excellent experience from the moment I entered the hotel. A very French-style interior, with jazz playing on the little satellite radio in the room.(it was refreshing after staying in other hotel rooms that felt so generic) Great breakfast spread and very friendly hospitable staff. When in Verbier, here's where you should stay!

We liked everything: from the beauty of the landscape and of the village to the place we rented with its pleasant and spacious balcony from which we could contemplate the mountains and the faraway peaks all the while comfortably enjoying our breakfasts. To figure what this location is like: think about a mix of the typical rocky mountains of the Colorado and, down at their foot, the so typical views, with green pastures and clean chalets you can see on Swiss pictures. Only the cows and the Alphorn player are missing. The whole of it overwhelmingly suggests one those posh spots for the affluent world society without a Bulgary and a Louis Vuiton outlets... but everything over there is normally, not to say cheaply, priced. We enjoyed the immediacy and practicality of the Coop market where could buy anything we could need within a minute, from fresh croissants to sushi, wine, kiwis .. And we enjoyed the positive mood of the inhabitants. Let alone the proximity (10 to 15 min. walking) of the Baths of Ovronaz and the agreableness of their staff. We warmly recommend this location and Chez CleMontagne and their pleasant and accommodating tenants. Overall, our notation for our sojourn there is... 11 stars on 10! :-)
