We absolutely loved our stay at the Kempinski Palace Engelberg. It was the perfect luxurious Alpine getaway, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Our room was even more beautiful in person, and the housekeeping was the best we’ve ever experienced. Enjoying the spa every day was the perfect way to start and end our days. The location is unbeatable—steps from the train station, town center, and mountain base. Breakfast was beautiful, and the onsite restaurants were incredibly convenient. Most importantly, we want to recognize Emil, our server, who was the friendliest and most hospitable person we met in Switzerland. Employees like him are why we love traveling and experiencing new places.

This property/Hotel is off the beaten path of Engelberg but that gives it a peaceful experience all the while, very easy to get to both the Ski Lift and Center of town both via free bus service with regular interval schedule. The breakfasts were excellent only exceeded by the warm and friendly hostess there each morning. As soon as I walked into the dining area the hostess offered me a Cappocino or similar immediately. Beautiful view of the Mountains while enjoying the breakfast selections. I found the decor of the Hotel very unique and well designed and detailed with a very mountainous yet upscale feel with very unique Swiss details. My room was spacious clean and very comfortable. The SPA is world class and luxurious. The Hotel owned restaurant across the street was delicious and the hostess very friendly and accommodating. I would go back to this Hotel in a heartbeat and in fact will go back in the future!

The view off the patio is amazing. Watched the sunset on the mountains. The sliding door is large allowing you to open the apartment to the mountains. Beds were comfortable.

The chalet was beautiful and much larger than pictured. Incredible location with amazing views of the town and mountains. The host was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again.

Very well located, a simple but very comprehensive breakfast, clean comfortable room of a good size with a nice view and balcony. Staff were all very friendly and made their guests feel very welcome and a bonus of a beautiful sauna area that included multiple saunas at different temperatures and a steam room, perfect for post-ski relaxation and rejuvenation. If you are looking for a very nice comfortable convenient place to stay in Engelberg at a reasonable price, The Crystal Hotel is a great choice.
