The food was absolutely incredible. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Absolutely beautiful location. Just a great atmosphere and the hot spring was fantastic.

Spacious and comfortable! Great attention to detail with many nice amenities. Loved the big dining table and comfy couches, outdoor sitting and grill were great, too. Ample bedrooms, with 5 toilets snd 2 showers. Loved having a kind of secret staff that did the dishes every night. Host was immensely helpful in making recommendations and providing advice.

The location was beautiful; directly beside the river so we fell asleep to the sound of water streaming down from higher altitudes. The traditional feel of the Japanese ryokan was perfect.

We love everything about this lodge. A very comfy lodge in a quite neigborhood. It was a very relaxing 4 days. We planned to do some snowboarding however some of us was not feeling well, so we just chill around the lodge, and we really had our recovery time there! Thank you so much Craig, Tim, Palof and Daniella for our wonderful 4 days there. We won’t forget your superb hospitality.

Spectacular view of the river, mountains, and fall foliage. Incredible food! I did not realize the half board would would be fine dining, I was very impressed. Great wine selection, the Chablis was very nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Convenient shuttle service. Excellent value!
