Beautiful location and views, delicious food. Cozy atmosphere; loved the restaurant with games for the family. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were comfortable, seemed recently renovated. Great for ski in ski out and sledding. Family friendly; our six year old has decided he wants to work for Chris when he grows up :P

Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the center of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train.

The views of the mountain were great. Everything was clean and we were in a great location. The hotel had everything we needed for our stay too. We didn’t have time to use the sauna but went to the restaurant and the honest bar/lounge.

I stayed in room 23 on the night of 11–12 September. The hotel was very clean, neat, and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The location is outstanding, right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen, and just a short walk from the train station. The highlight was the balcony of room 23 – the view of the valley and waterfalls was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was also excellent with a nice variety.

The hotel is located in the heart of Grindelwald, 5 minutes from the train station.

It’s newly renovated and reopened on 18th December only. The rooms are spacious and guns modern vibes. We stayed in Eiger suite which had eiger view, kitchenette as well as fire place. The hotel staff was good and the location of the hotel is perfect. Central to both the grindelward station as well as Grindelwald first with all shops and grocery stores near by
