This hotel is amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Especially Raphaël, he is always so nice and courteous. The decoration in this hotel is bringing a very loungy atmosphere. A quiet and peaceful place in rumorous Gerlos. The breakfast is very tasty. The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom is cleverly comparted. The wellness is composed of 2 saunas, which is very nice to make use of after a day of skiing.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Andrea's hotel. We were not really planning to go vacation so I had not time to make to many resarch about the hotel, when we first arrived we had given us a smaller room with no views, my husband asked for a better solution and the host has provided us a room upgrade, moving us in an apartment, much more comfortable (we are a family of 4 with 2 small kids) and with a beautiful view! We had breakfast at the hotel and it was simply delicious, simple and healthy! As I said before we didn't really planned this little vacation so we didn't sky but the zillertal Arena is 2 mins away, we had a fantastic hike instead and it was breathtaking ... definitely we will be back! We loved our time at the Andrea's hotel, everything was spotless clean. really pleased with everything!

This place was truely amazing. The hotel itself looks like a beautiful modern castle a bit outside the city of Gerlos, surrounded by snowy plains and mountains. Rooms are surprisingly big, very modern while having a warm wooden touch, very clean, excellent bathroom facilities. Sauna and Swimmingpool are beautiful. Food was exceptional (!). While breakfast and lunch were buffets with a great variety, also for vegans, Dinner was a 5 course menu a la carte - with quality of a Michelin Starred restaurant. I could write an essay alone about the food. Staff was world class - friendly, approachable, compentent. Milan from the Restaurant staff was an exceptional host. Ski lift to Zillertal Arena is one street crossing away from the main entrance. Perfect. Overall, we felt like in a dream - thus I can confirm the name of this hotel being more than accurate. Travelling a lot around the world using hotels, this is one of the Top3 stays in my life. Thank you to the Hollaus Family for creating this beautiful place.

I spent wonderful five days in Hotel Schonruh. I travelled alone and enjoyed my time immensely. As a mother of three I can relay that the Hotel is great destination also for the families with kids. The room was pleasant, clean and the bed comfortable. The sheets were extra soft and nice. I would have been happier had the room was located on higher floor of the hotel (as the view would have been better) nevertheless there were probably larger rooms and family suites. The overall catering was superb. The breakfast was rich and offered countless selection of teas, cereals, breads, pastries, eggs, hams, cheeses, spreads, vegetables, fruits, juices, nuts, seeds, yoghurts…..every morning there was some thematic breakfast to complement standard offer. Evening meals comprised of rich salad and tapas bar, served dinner including starter, selection of soups, main course and dessert, followed by cheese, fruit and ice cream buffet. Every course was accompanied by selection of wines and digestives. I spent a little time in wellness area that was very pleasant and offer various possibilities of relaxation. The area of Gerlos and Zillertal is beautiful. I rode my bikes (both mountain and road) and enjoyed the time very much - nevertheless you have to count on steep hills in the area (e-bike may be the choice if you are not a fan of uphill climbs:)). The cableway is in close vicinity of the hotel (up to 5min walk).

It is close to numerous tourist attractions, very good located. Our apartman was super clean, spacious, filled with every necessary equipments. The staff was very kind, friendly and supportive. We can only highly recommend VAYA Gerlos to anyone. You will not be disappointed with this accommodation. We will definitely go there in the future.
