Everything was done with so much intention and care — they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and looked after. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome drink and surprised with an upgrade to a suite with a hot tub! And that was just the beginning. We were treated to complimentary wine and a free 20-minute couples massage and private hour to use the spa to ourselves. The continental breakfast was delicious, the pool area was pure bliss, and the dinner was absolutely incredible. We loved our stay at Koia and already dreaming of coming back!

Great food all around. Restaurant and reception staff is very mindful and accommodating for dietary needs. Good location close to Kardamena beach but pool service is excellent too.

After a very disappointing experience at another hotel in Kos, which we had to leave after just one night, we found Lago Hotel—and it was the best decision we could have made. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and even upgraded us to a penthouse suite. The room was absolutely perfect: spacious, spotless, beautifully designed with a luxurious style, and every detail was carefully thought out. The entire hotel was exceptionally clean, the service was outstanding, and everyone on the staff was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They truly turned our vacation around. Amazing place to be. Lovely gardens, great pools, even though it was high season we didn’t really feel the crowd as the hotel is so spread into a wide space with several pools abd restaurants. Mostly German speaking tourists but the food is purely Greek/mediterranean. Great entertainment for the kids. We will come back!
