It was the most charming little hotel we stayed at in Vietnam. The staff were amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We loved being a block away from all the action but at the same time being on a side street that despite all the traffic proved to be perfectly fine in terms of noise levels. The restaurant at the property is delicious and offers a great variety of Vietnamese dishes for those times where you just feel like staying in but still enjoying a delicious meal 😊

The location is perfect for old town activities but the street itself ie very quiet. The property has been recently renovated, was extremely clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Additionally, I cannot stay enough about the staff. Every single staff member went above and beyond. They gave us a million recommendations that were stellar, upgraded our room, gave us a departure gift, and so much more.

A vegetarian option can also be requested. The Salute hotel is a perfect location to immerse oneself in the heart of the Hanoi old quarter. Our stay was comfortable and it was made even better by the help of the staff, especially Ms Sue who booked a tour for us to Ninh Binh and recommended a hotel stay there. It was great service!
