I like Hotel Route Inn in Japan because they provide all the necessary services/facilites. A place to park a bicycle, clean efficient rooms, and a great breakfast to get you going for a 100k bike ride. No other chain offers as much as Hotel Route Inn at a reasonable cost. Over the last 5 years in Japan I have stayed at all the hotels and I enjoy Route Inn the most .

It was quite a walking distance to nearby train stations. However, the staff were great and very helpful, to make the stay very pleasant. There were lots of restaurants nearby offering different catering. The bonus was they had a good laundry facility, but unfortunately, it was located at the floor allows smoking.
