The rooms, with lovely balconies, overlook the sea, and the breakfast room is light and airy with the same open sea view. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and a variety of fresh baked cakes as well as yoghurt, fruit, cheese pastries, eggs etc. The staff were cheerful, kind and helpful. We loved Simos beach, which had the most amazing crystal clear water and soft sand; and the harbour town to promenade in the evening where you can pick a taverna for dinner on the seafront.

Filoxenia Hotel is situated 300 metres from the bridge connecting to the castle and the Old Town of Monemvasia. It offers comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi and is only 20 metres from the beach. After a long journey in the south of the Peloponnese, we ended in this nice hotel facing the sea and the peninsula of the old town. The room had an amazing view and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the arrangement in the bathroom and the direct access to sunbed and the beach. Great breakfast, with the option of taking your food at the beach. The staff was extremely welcoming and helped with things to do in the old town of Monenvasia. Staff went the extra mile with holding our luggage while visiting the old town on check out day. Definitely a place to stay if you like the beach, the view and the proximity to the old town.

Annema Hotel is a quiet and friendly hotel offering the perfect opportunity for quiet outdoor relaxation by the coast of Monemvassia. Amazing location on the beach. Extremely clean rooms. Nikos was very helpful in everything. He and Androns actually saved us when our rented car broke up: They arranged with the rental company taxis that took us to the airport.

Coralli Rooms & Restaurant is located on Elafonisos, just 500 metres from the ferry port connecting the island with the Peloponnese peninsula. Some units have views of the sea or garden. We had a wonderful visit. The staff was friendly, helpful and wonderful at all counts. Will definitely return to this establishment.
