Tranquil village location. The Bothy was a lovely clean, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation for my week's walking in the Dales. It had everything I needed. Arncliffe is seven miles from the nearest shop, which is not a problem if you have your own transport. Choice of walks into the Dales from the doorstep.

Friendly staff, cake on arrival and there is the option to get a packed lunch made for you for an additional fee for those days when you go walking. There's plenty to do and see in the area, such as caves, walking and scenic villages. This is a lovely escape with beautiful views out of the bedroom window, my parents said they would love to go back.
