Villas in Ampavris

We can't recommend this property enough -- walking through the front door, you take a step back in time... But with all the comforts and amenities of the 21st century! Kosta was incredibly warm and welcoming, explaining the history of the house and the traditional way of life it recalled, leaving us a bunch of local products to start our stay, and giving us the *best* recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. This place (and Kosta's advice about what to eat!) made for a wonderful stay in Kos... And we already can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at villa Olea in early Sept. Debbie was so welcoming and helpful, she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and enjoyed our trip. The villa's interiors are gorgeous, the kitchen was well set up, we had a TV but barely watched it, the perfect spot for a family of four to chill, relax by the pool enjoy some beach days and local sights for a week's holiday. Wish we could have stayed longer! If you book this villa make sure you hire a car (Ecco Rentals were great), local taxis are very unreliable and it's a bit too far to walk into Kos town but easy to get to the local shop by foot. Ask Debbie for Kosta's number for an airport transfer super lovely and helpful local driver! Beach days recommend Mylos Beach Bar you don't have to pay for chairs, dinner Zorba's is a must, head to the cobbled streets of Old Town for shopping away from the harbour, Barbouni for seafood at sunset magical, Zia also at sunset and dinner on the roof of Olympia 2 breathtaking!

The property was very roomy and very clean everywhere. The AC was excellent throughout the property. The kitchen had everything you need for a self catering stay. The owners kindly left a welcome pack which was excellent. They also brought fresh vegetables and fruit after a few days which we enjoyed. We enjoyed using the outside space which was also comfortable. The mattresses on the beds were very firm. The road could be busy but didn’t disturb our nights sleep. The shower had good pressure and the bathroom was clean and well appointed. We made good use of the washing machine. We didn’t hire a car and didn’t find the distances too difficult to the main areas of the town. We tended to use the bus to get around the island to beaches.

Great location! Fotis came over to help us with safe as it wasn’t working. He replaced the batteries, and it was all good! He helped us with the air conditioning as well.

Amazing place, great comunnication!

Great location in the center, minutes walk from the port. The house has 2 suites, A and B. We spent time in both, and they're both good, but we liked B better, since it's bigger with slightly better facilities, and faces a smaller street with less traffic. Eirini the host is very helpful and responsive.

Close to the city center. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Ideal to feel like a local. There are beautiful and friendly cats living in the neighborhood, very cute!

Good value for the money, location not so hot on looks and quite a walk down to the sea front. but doable. There was no cleaning service over the 5 days I stayed.
