The house and 20 acres of rugged countryside overlooks Lough Key. Guests can fish and swim at the lake on the grounds of the house.

The house has a beautiful location, bit remote though - it's about 5 min drive to the nearest shop. The house does have an exit to the Lough Key lake - and there is a small boat pier. We did not take the boat, but the reviews seemed to say it was possible. The views from the dining room and sitting room over the lake are amazing. It's about 15 min drive to Lough Key Park center. The house is comfortable - there are only 9 permanent beds + 1 folding (or there is a couch in the sitting room). The house is very spacious and is build like a mansion. Like the games for the kids. There was also a playroom in an external building (but this needs fixing by the owners, ceiling was leaking - we could not use it). Overall we had a great time
