Home from home! Ruwan and his family couldn’t have made us feel more welcome to their lovely Homestay. Nothing was too much trouble. The room had a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The shower was powerful and in the heat a welcome relief. Our room was on the small side but this wasn’t a problem as the outside space had a hammock, table and chairs. Breakfast was served daily by Ruwan and his lovely daughter. It was fresh and plentiful and always delivered with a big smile. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t great and took some getting used to. Ruwan did kindly offer to change our room but we declined as we didn’t want to inconvenience him with another room to clean. However it is only fair to share this information. We stayed 4 Nights with Ruwan and his family and everyday he checked on our welfare, if we needed anything or a ride anywhere. He organised a wonderful Whale watching trip for us, one we would recommend, as a must when in this area. Ruwan kindly cooked us a delicious Sri Lanka. Fish supper despite his wife only day’s earlier giving birth to their son. On New Years Day the family invited us for breakfast in their home. The food was plentiful, delicious and a reflection of this family’s kindness and willingness to share their hospitality with us. I urge Anyone in this area to visit Ruwan and his family if wanting an authentic experience. Ruwan, thank you , we will be back. You are in our hearts forever. Xox

Great little apartment with everything you need. Filtered water, new kitchen appliances and everything was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The owner was very responsive and provided everything we asked for. Great location if you have a scooter. Would stay here again! The street noise can be loud if you are sensitive to that.

We had a great time at Kavi Villa. Owners were super friendly, accommodating all our needs above and beyond expectations. Delicious food were available for affordable prices up on request from owners. Walking distance to beautiful Weligama beach and the rooms were very comfortable. Highly recommend to all my friends.

This is a fairly new property right by the beach, offering gorgeous sea views and a peaceful atmosphere. Whether you're cooling off in the pool, soaking up the sun by the beach, or just relaxing in the spacious and comfortable rooms, there’s something for everyone. The location is super convenient, with great restaurants and cafés just a short walk away. The staff were also very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing coastal getaway!
