Valmont estate is picture perfect with the most beautiful horses adding to the tranquility. We stayed in the Dam Cottage which was very cutely decorated and snug. Its centrally located and very close to Natures Valley with a beautiful unspoilt beach and hike, and just off the N2 so a short drive into Plett for a meal or tsitsikamma for some adventure sports. This is the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate. The staff are lovely and super helpful.

We had a great time here! The views are amazing, and the place looks beautiful, especially the garden. But what made our stay really special was how friendly and welcoming the host was. They made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

While the wonderful owner, in his thirties, is doing a good job to create an eco encampment on the edge of a beautiful gorge, it's a place recommended for those under about 45. The focus is on a place to gather and sometimes party for locals as well as travelers. Benny is well loved by the local villagers. If you are very fortunate, he will take you into the native village for a once in a life time experience. There is a new swimming pool.

Just a short drive vom Plettenbergberg Bay, the lodge is located right in the nature with dogs, donkeys and chickens. Easy to relax in this atmosphere. The food was amazing. You should book the dinner when staying there!

The property itself was quaint and peaceful and totally off the grid, so no load shedding interupptions! The rooms have character and personality while still feeling comfortable and homey. Unfortunately, we couldn't join for dinners, but the menu sounded incredible, and our breakfasts were delicious, hearty, and homemade. If we're in the area again we will definitely be staying at Villa Villekula again. It was a unique and charming stay!

The amazing suites are all themed and preciously thought through with stunning eye catching vintage items. This place with its amazing pond and Mountain view from the relaxing porch, with grazing donkeys and lovely dogs instantly destresses you!
