The villa is beautifully situated on a mountainside. For greater comfort, it is worth taking a 4x4 car - although in our case a regular sedan also did the trick. After browsing countless listings and reviews, I discovered The Orchid Lodge. The photos exuded tranquility—exactly what I was looking for. Plus, the price was surprisingly reasonable for what was offered—great value for money—so I booked it without hesitation. I could go on and on about this place. Kristen, who owns and single-handedly runs the lodge (don’t be misled by the term lodge—it’s far more than that), is truly remarkable. I arrived at 10:30 PM, exhausted, and there she was, waiting with a platter of fresh fruit and a drink. Her warm smile instantly reassured me that I had made the right choice to end my vacation. The lodge itself is spotless, impeccably maintained, and has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Kristen is an incredibly kind and attentive host, taking care of every request, helping with bookings, and offering valuable insights on the best spots in Koh Samui—including hidden gems off the beaten path. Honestly, I can’t stop raving about this place to all my friends heading to Koh Samui. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning to Thailand, and when I do, Orchid Lodge Samui will be my go-to accommodation. Thank you, Kristen, for making the end of my vacation absolutely perfect!

Perched on a sloping hill in the northern end of Plai Laem Beach, Samui Bayside Luxury Villas provides non-smoking accommodation with a private infinity pool and unobstructed views of the ocean and sunset. The property is just a few step from Samrong Beach. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Modern and clean villa on a superb location. We stayed at villa 20 which has a magnificent view over te bay. This combined with the infinity pool and a sunset makes you feel you're in paradise. The beach is a one minute walk down and is mostly empty, apart from some sunbathers. Very calm athmosphere. The water is clear with some rocks here and there. Going back up to the villa along the steep path is a little bit more challenging, but good for your physique. All necessary facilities are on site, even a washing machine, dryer and bbq. In case you need anything else, you have the bayside team on standby for you. The holday was great!

The property was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the host was always helpful and responsive. A peaceful and relaxing experience — highly recommended!
