Very helpful host (German, Portuguese, English spoken). Good location (rural setting, close to coast, a comfortable drive from Faro). Beautiful and interesting gardens. My first floor room had a private balcony. Everything tidy and cleaned daily.

Amor de Criança is a refuge of peace and happiness in the middle of nature. The hosts are very forthcoming and provided us with fresh fruits from the garden, as well as fresh eggs from their own chicken. Bonus points for the pool and the most chill dogs we've met 👍

We stayed here for a few times in a row now and everytime it feels more at home. There is a warm welcome everytime when we arrive. The host is very flexible to arrange things according to our wishes. The cottage has a nice feeling and is comfortable, attention was paid to details and atmosphere.

This gem is ~midway between Zambujeira and Odeceixe, allowing us to break up this section of the hike into 2 days. The owners offered free lift to and from nearby excellent restaurants. Very comfortable, squeaky clean rooms and a high quality breakfast. Refreshing salt water pool as well as easy walk to the beach.

This place is amazing. The house and garden were so quiet, beautiful and wonderful. It's a bit remote (and that's a plus!) but you still have access to all the necessary amenities within 10mn of car. About the place by itself, it was so good. The room and by extension the house is fantastically gorgeous. The breakfast prepared by Ruth is gigantic and excellent. Ruth herself is so lovely and always ready to help. She provided everything we needed (including umbrellas, beach towels, good restaurants and beaches advices) just by kindness. Her dogs and her cat are so cute and so friendly. It was just the best place we could have wished for relaxing vacations.

We have enjoyed our experience in Paraíso Escondido so much. Berny, Glen and Gisela are very friendly. The place is beautiful and our cabin had the most amazing view. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and healthy. Hope we can stay there again.

The fish house was just perfect! Definitely coming back here for a longer period. The gardens and all the little corners are made with eye for detail. Everything looks very nice. The pool is very relaxing and beautiful. The view is stunning.
