I arrived late night and self-checking-in was not a problem. The double room (with private bathroom) I booked was perfect: very clean, cozy and to my surprise: pretty big. Just 10 minutes’ drive from Gol Ski Centre, this property has a sauna and summer swimming pool. It offers cottages and apartments with cooking facilities. The staff was very helpful, we didn't have a key to get the Dryer working after the reception closed. I called and he managed to send someone who gave us a key. Check in and check out were very smooth and the Cabin was all that we needed.

Offering closeness to nature, Birkelund is set in a mountain area 17 km from Geilo town centre. It offers basic cottages with a patio and shared bathroom facilities. Excellent hosts , brilliant cabins , loads of room for the kids to enjoy the day, crazy golf , foozeball, swings etc ,showers & toilets on the site . Every thing you need for a great holiday in beautiful nordic countryside . We would highly recommend a stay . 5☆☆☆☆☆ .
