this hotel has a great shuttle service for airport and ferry terminal (unless you land after 10pm, which the last SEA-YYJ flight does); neatly located next to a bar that serves food and a supermarket and mcdonalds

We only spent one day in Sidney, BC. Brunch at Five & Dime, great food, very friendly servers, clean place. Visited John Dean Provincial Park, the trails were well marked and full of all kinds of mushrooms, very fun and interesting. Had coffee at The Serious Cafe, good coffee. Walked to Lochside Waterfront Park, didn't get to see much stores since most of them were closed at 5pm. Visited DGD Gift store, small store with a good collection of gifts. The part of Sidney we saw is clean, peaceful and safe.

Sidney is just a delightful town with a lovely shoreline and easy walking areas. The Beacon Inn is a perfect accommodation for staying in Sidney. It’s warm, friendly and so comfortable as a destination. Great restaurants and breweries are about the town and we enjoyed them tremendously. We will certainly visit again but stay longer to relax and enjoy more of its’ amenities and natural surroundings.

I love walking around Sydney, boutiques, beaches and restaurants. The closeness to the Airport and Ferry terminal is a bonus. Sunday night things close early or are not open just so you know. We ate at the Bistro Restaurant and it was excellent.

It was a relaxing place to stay while we got settled in to our new home in Sidney. I didn't have time to experience all the wonderful things about Sidney but now that I live here it will be fantastic place to explore. We often drove to Sidney from Duncan just to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Sidney. This is why when we downsized we moved here and have a place overlooking the water. Beautiful in deed!!!

Great location.
Great location. Great shopping and restaurants and harbour right there. We met friends at the Surly Mermaid- good restaurant on the waterfront.Grocery store and liquor store next door. We walked everywhere.
Convenient to Sidney & Victoria. Lovely home with comfortable accommodations & nice views to the beach. Wendy is extremely friendly & available to guests; engaging conversationalist. Breakfast was very nice, great flavour on the omelet & nicely presented. The table was set beautifully. We had a very enjoyable stay & would definitely book again.
The hotel location is great for Victoria airport as it's a 5 min drive away and the hotel offers a free shuttle. It's great for a stay immediately after arrival or before departure but is a 30 min drive from downtown Victoria. The hotel and room were obviously a little older but were clean and in good repair.
We were in a suite with a waterfront view. Twenty feet length with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the ocean with an amazing view, clean and modern, well-provisioned kitchenette,,exceptionally spacious, offseason room rates provided fantastic value, wonderful location at heart of Sidney on the waterfront.
Place very comfy that we could have family to share meals and games so made it very special to have us all visit in a space we could enjoy all together. was close to all the shops and the shoreline walk was not far away. For a stay in Sidney,
I would say top notch.
Location was perfect for accessing everything in downtown Sidney, and for walks on the waterfront. Also great access to the airport. Everything was very clean in the apartment. Lots of storage space, although not really needed for short stays.
We have stayed at your Inn several times and always enjoyed it!! It is less expensive than downtown hotels and closer to family. We don’t expect or need the highest quality and expensive decor !We always enjoy Sidney as well .!!
location was close to Sidney. it was spacious. I enjoyed the balcony. The underground parking was great. Love the elevator for luggage. Felt safe! the restaurant next door at the marina was at a walking distance and excellent!
Nothing.
Room was full of useless furniture, decorated with cheap, fancy lookalike stuff.
Cleanliness was so-so.
No communication with the owner since we late checked-in (even though we announced it early).
The central Sidney location was perfect for us. The room was quiet; the bed was comfortable Lighting is well placed for reading. plenty of storage for clothing. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Not your ordinary hotel stay with breakfast included...this place was much better. The choices of breakfasts were great, the people running it were amazing and location was beautiful.
Landed at 11 pm and got to the hotel at 11:30, appreciate the gentleman’s waiting for me (front desk usually closes at 10), welcoming personality and relaxed atmosphere. I recommend it
A beautiful, old house with well-appointed rooms. The sherry nightcap was delightful. Excellent location in Sidney. Overall, recommended as good value for money.
We were late getting off the ferry and didn’t want to make the trip up island and we were pleasantly surprised at the convenience of the hotel. Thank you
