I really loved the atmosphere in this hotel. It was opened in 1929 and has a lot of character. The location is fantastic for exploring the nearby hiking trails. My kids loved sleeping upstairs in the room under the sky light. We would definitely stay again if returning to the troodos region.

We came just for one night and as it rained and was after 19:00 the local taverns were closing. We didn't have an opportunity to dine out. But the staff at the hotel was so helpful, they organised us dinner with cheese platter and ravioli in out room. It was so romantic. We enjoyed it. The village is small but because of the rain we didn't walk around. Hope next time we come it will be sunny.OksanaCyprus - 6.0Scored 6.0

It's a very pretty village - traditional with nice coffee shops and tavernas. However, it is quite hard going if you arent too fit / have disabilities and because it isn't in the top of troodos, it's still quite hot until about November time. It's a wine growing region so you could book a few vineyard trips - you will need a car for this.

A lovely Heritage village.
A lovely Heritage village. Vouni means little mountain and it lives up to it's name. The people are very nice and most speak English. There is still a strong feeling of traditional Cyprus here and they celebrate various festivals. The name day for Mary took place whilst I was there .. as important as Christmas and a Bank Holiday. The village got together for a night if singing which was very special to listen to. I was welcomed into several homes and given free coffee in the Kafeneion. I now regard the owner of the property as a friend and thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. I am already planning my return. You will need a car and be prepared to travel for an average 49 minutes but the roads are good, little traffic, low speed limits and the scenery is stunning.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

A small village. Nothing for young people to see. Only a traditional cafe as in all the villages in cyprus. 1 restaurant open for the weekend. No supermarket. If you need anything must visit next villages.

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Phaedra and Yiannis, who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! I strongly recommend a stay at this amazing place! For us, it was the perfect romantic getaway! A big plus to the whole experience is their restaurant that is on the same premises and one can enjoy exceptional authentic Greek cuisine ! We will definitely be back!

We chose one of the rooms with the Jacuzzi and it was so worth it. We turned off all lights, light up all the free candles around the room and had a very romantic time. The fireplace and the huge tv with netflix make for a cozy dinner with a bottle of wine from their huge selection. Breakfast was also very nice served in your own room.
